As per the NIRF 2024 ranking under the “Engineering” category, IIIT Delhi ranks 85 among the top Engineering institutes of the country. The total fee for MTech in IIIT Delhi ranges between INR 3.7 lakh and INR 6 lakh. NIT Trichy MTech fee is INR 1.4 lakh. As per placement statistics, the median package is recorded to be INR 18.17 LPA for IIITD and INR 7 LPA for NIT Trichy. Hence, it can be concluded that the fee is higher at IIITD. It must be noted that the fee given for both institutes is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. No, you can't take admission in M.Tech at IIIT Delhi without appearing for the GATE exam. The institute offers this two-year full-time programme at the postgraduate level. Aspirants must meet the basic eligibility of passing graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university in addition to clearing the GATE exam. For seat allotment, candidates have to register for the CCMT counselling. 

The average package recorded during IIIT Delhi MTech placements 2025 was 17.26 LPA. In 2024 and 2023, MTech average package was 17.58 LPA and 20.52 LPA.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi offers UG, PG, and Diploma across Engineering stream. The fee strcture of the programmes is INR 25,000- 19.55 lakh. Admission to the BTech programme is done basis JEE Main score followed by JAC Delhi Counselling. For Delhi-based students, admission to BTech CSD and CSSS programmes is done basis of UCEED rank and Class 12 marks, respectively. Candidates who further meet the minimum eligibility criteria can fill out the admission form. Eligible students can submit their application through the IIIT Delhi official website. The result is further announced to declare the names of the candidates selected for further selection rounds.

IIIT-Delhi B.Tech Admission- The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (commonly known as IIITD) will be providing admissions to eligible students to various undergraduate degree courses. IIIT Delhi admit candidates to a few courses without any entrance examination. For example, the institute admits candidates to the BTech CSSS programme based on their performance in Class 12 or an equivalent examination. Moreover, for PG Diploma in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria are only required to take part in an interview round. The cutoff trend for BTech at IIIT Delhi has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2024, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 10559. In 2023, it improved to 8670. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 4554 and closing rank was 4659 in 2023. The cutoff in 2024 for the all-India quota ranged from 6695 to 9975. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Biosciences in IIIT Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

In 2022, the cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Delhi other than General category was - 11759 for OBC, 45090 for SC, 61386 for ST, and 5266 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female. 

As per the latest reports the cut off list has not been released. IIIT Delhi cutoff 2024 will be released after each round of JoSAA counselling for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses. IIT Delhi JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks for different categories under the AI Quota. 

Every year, NTA conducts the JEE Main entrance exam for the selection of eligible candidates in IIT, NIT and IIITs. The admission process for JEE Main 2026 (session 1) registrations has been completed. JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was held from January 21 to 30, and session 2 will be held from April 2 to 9.  January 21 to 30.

 

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions.
