During the BTech 2024 placements, a placement rate of 90.99% was achieved. Moreover, the highest domestic and average package offered was INR 49 LPA and INR 22.04 LPA, respectively. The average package stood at INR 25.39 LPA. Hence, students can consider pursuing BTech from IIIT Delhi.
Last year, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science and Design was 981, which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to IIIT Delhi.
It is mandatory for students to have a valid JEE Main score for admission to the BTech programme. However, for Delhi-based students, admission to IIIT Delhi BTech CSD and CSSS programmes is done basis of UCEED rank and Class 12 marks, respectively. However, it is still mandatory that the students fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria. Hence, candidates without a valid JEE score can also take admission to IIIT Delhi BTech CSD and CSSS courses.
