In 2024, the cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at IIIT Delhi other than General category was - 23566 for OBC, 94128 for SC, 103550 for ST, and 13240 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. Engineering Courses

In case of cancellation or withdrawal of admission, students are refunded some part of the fee. Below is the fee refund policy followed at IIIT Delhi:

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply by visiting IIIT Delhi official website. Admission to the MTech CSE, ECE, and CB is based on GATE score. For CB course, selected candidates have to go through an online interview round as well. Moreover, for the MTech CB DBT seats, aspirants are selected based on GAT-B exam scores followed by an interview round. Additionally, for MTech (Research) course admission, PGCAT-IIIT Delhi exam score is accepted following which candidates have to go through an offline interview round. For some of the seats, aspirants are selected on merit-basis.

IIIT Delhi provides international placements to its students. The highest international package recorded during IIIT Delhi placements 2025 was INR 107 LPA. A total of 9 international offers were made in 2025.

Candidates with a valid BTech degree or PG Degree in Science/Mathematics/IT/Computers/MCA from a recognised university can apply for admission. It is further also necessary that the candidate passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 65% aggregate for admission to CSE, ECE, and CB MTech courses. 

The cutoff is released for every counselling round. As per the data collected from external sources, for M.Tech CSE in IIIT Delhi, candidates with a GATE score of above 60 and for ECE, a score above 65 shall be good enough to get selected.
