Absolutely satisfied because of faculty good placements and really good infrastructure.
Placements: Here the placements are good and better as compared to other colleges and universities. The infrastructure of the college is also good and here the students develop the qualities of merchant navy captain and also different shipping companies comes to our university for the placements of the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that much good as compared to other imu campuses and recently in our university a new hostel has been constructed for the students as our university strength is increasing year by year and we have a playground where students can play football and cricket and we also have a basketball court and a volleyball court.
Faculty: Here the faculty members are good and they help us in any situation and for our university minimum attendance % is 85% if the students are having below 85% attendance the he or she has to pay the condonation fee if they attendance are below 75% then they are not eligible for writing semester exams.
Other: Recently we had celebrated our university fest named converge and our university crowd is almost 250.

It has below-average placements, good infrastructure, and disappointing facilities.
Placements: About 60% of students were placed in the previous batch. Anglo-Eastern, M.Sc. Seven islands and Synergy are the top recruiting companies. About 40% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: It has excellent infrastructure but average facilities. The facilities available in the college hostel include free Wi-Fi for all students. The quality of food available is poor. Sports and games are below average. We have more studies than sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The exams are difficult, and we get arrears in exams.
Other: There must be more placement opportunities and a better sports curriculum. Events conducted in college are below average.

As per IMU Academic Brochure 2019-20, The eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Nautical Science (3-Years program) is as under:
Eligibility criteria : The candidate should have 10+2 or equivalent (PCM-60% average and minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th Examination.)
