IIFT Delhi Admission Overview 2025

IIFT Delhi admission to all the courses (Except for certificate courses, EMBA & MBA) is through an institute-based entrance exam. Moreover, for MBA (IB) and MBA (BA), IIFT Delhi admission is through the Common Aptitude Test (CAT. IIFT Delhi accepts applications in online mode. Additionally, for PhD, the application shall be submitted offline. Below is the overview of IIFT Delhi admission process:

1. Appear for CAT Exam:

Aspirants must first register for CAT conducted by IIMs. Aspirants who pass CAT are shortlisted for IIFT MBA.

2. Apply for IIFT MBA Programme

Aspirants after CAT registration have to apply separately for IIFT MBA programme on the official website of IIFT admission portal. Aspirants also have to pay an application fee to complete the process.

3. Shortlisting for Final Selection Round

IIFT selects candidates for final selection based on CAT score and gender diversity.

4. Participate in Final Selection Round

Selected aspirants are further called for a group discussion and personal interview round. Candidates may also participate in WAT or Written Ability Test for final selection.

5. Final Merit List & Admission

The final merit list is prepared based on composite score of the candidates. The score is calculated considering CAT score, performance of aspirants in GD/ PI/ WAT, academic history, work experience and gender diversity.

6. Admission Offer

Candidates are offered admission to IIFT MBA based on the final merit list.

1: IIFT Delhi Application Process 2025

Candidates need to visit the official website of IIFT Delhi to begin the application process(iift.ac.in). All candidates are being advised to confirm their compliance with the set eligibility criteria before proceeding with the IIFT Delhi admissions.

2: Shortlisting of Students

The NTA course admissions canbe completed in online mode.For the NTA application process, candidates are required to pay the NTA application fees of INR 2,500 for the General category or INR 1,000 for Reserved category. The application fee is not refundable. Candidates must make sure to share the correct and valid email address in the form as most of the intimations are given via mail by the Institute. Moreover, now admission to MBA is through CAT, hence, aspirants must complete the CAT registration process for admission at IIFT. Further, the IIFT registration is a four-step process as mentioned below:

Overall best College for M.A. in Economics Course.

Placements: IIFT has a history of 97% placements. Companies such as JP Morgan Case, Goldman Sachs, HDFC Bank, and others come to our college for placement. Many companies who visit our campus only go to IIMs A, B, and C. The average wage was 17 LPA. The national maximum pay will be 26 LPA. Top positions include Statistical Analyst and Research Associate. 95% of students receive internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: IIFT has excellent infrastructure. The college has a dynamic campus. Students and faculty have access to Wi-Fi on the college campus. Students have access to labs and libraries that are fully equipped. The college classrooms were well-equipped with appropriate facilities and excellent teaching tools. There was also a restaurant at the college.

Faculty: IIFT boasts some of the greatest financial students. It has well-trained teachers. Live events, initiatives, and other forms of educational presentations are included. The quality of the offered facilities and faculty was good enough at IIFT Delhi.

Placements: At the IIFT MBA, students gets multiple placements opportunities. Every year, around 60–65% of the students get placements in our college. The average package offered at the college was between 5-7 LPA. The top recruiting companies were CITI India, TCS, Indegene, Infosys, etc. The top roles offered at the college were analyst, associate, HR, and program management.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the IIFT was good for the MBA programme. All the necessary facilities were offered in the MBA programme. Wi-Fi was available on the entire campus. The labs and library of the college were good. Hostel facilities were also available for the students. Mess and canteen food were good to eat.

Faculty: The faculty of the college was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about our course. IIFT has experienced faculty members for the MBA programme. This course curriculum was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the IIFT were not very easy to pass.
