IIFT 2024 Application Form/ Registration: Check IIFT Exam Fees, Date, & How to Apply!

The IIFT entrance exam will not be conducted this year, for admission to the batch of 2024-26. The selection of candidates will be be based on CAT 2023 scores. 

Till last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) used to conduct the entrance exam on behalf of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi. The NTA had been conducting the IIFT entrance exam since 2019. The IIFT exam pattern, syllabus, fees, eligibility criteria and fees, etc. were determined by the institute. The NTA only conducted online registration and the exam and announced the IIFT result. The NTA was also the sole authority for accepting or rejecting candidature, allotment of test centres, managing arrangements at the exam centre, checking response sheets, examining answer keys and objections.

After the IIFT result announcement by the NTA, the institute would take over for admission and selection process which includes, release of cut offs, written assessment, extempore, personal interview.

The IIFT 2024 registration process will begin most likely in the last week of September 2023 and end in the last week of November 2023. The institute will announce the registration schedule via an online notification at its website in the last week of September 2023. Applicants will have to fill the online application form during this phase. Once the form submission link is deactivated, no applicant will be able to submit the form. IIFT application form highlights:

• IIFT 2024 application form will be available at the IIFT-NTA 
• The IIFT applications can be filled online only
• The fee is to be paid via debit card/credit card or net banking 
• Passport size photo and scanned signature have to be uploaded at the time of application submission

The IIFT exam application form 2024 will be available in online mode only at the IIFT website. There is no provision of filling the IIFT application form offline. Candidates must submit their online application form before the deadline in order to be eligible to appear in the exam. Here's the process to access the IIFT 2024 application form online:

• Go to IIFT website
• Click on 'new candidate registration'
• Enter basic details to create a login
• Use application number and password which has been generated to log in
• Access the IIFT application form 2024 online
• Fill personal and academic details
• Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
• Select test cities and furnish other relevant  
• Complete the IIFT form filling process by making fee payment through debit/credit card or net banking

The application submission acknowledgement slip will be generated and mailed to you in registered email ID after the fee payment transaction is successful.

Candidates who have score a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate in graduation are eligible to apply (45 per cent forSC/ST/PwD candidates). The graduation degree should be from a universityrecognisedby the UGC. If you are in the final year of your bachelor’s degree programme and wish to appear for IIF then you need to have scored a minimum 50 per cent in aggregate in first two years of your Bachelor's degree (45 per cent for Reserved category candidates). However, your admission will be provisional until you submit your Graduation certificate before the last date of document submission fixed by the institute.

 Aspirants must note that there is no age limit to appear in the IIFT entrance exam. The only eligibility criteria for IIFT exam is graduation with required score. Fresh graduates as well as individuals having work experience can also appear for the IIFT entrance exam which is held for admission to MBA-International Business and MBA-Business Analytics.

No, there is no age bar on appearing in IIFT entrance exam. Any candidate with a bachelor's degree from a recognised university having scored a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate can appear for IIFT entrance exam. The minimum score criteria for SC/ST/PwD candidates is 45 per cent aggregate. Final year graduation students can also appear in the exam. The exam is for MBA degree so a fresh graduate as well as a working professionals of junior, middle or senior levels can also appear for the exam. In fact, candidates with work experience are given preference over fresh graduates during the selection rounds. Candidates can appear for the IIFT entrance exam multiple times as well.

In case you have made an error in the IIFT application form, you can rectify it when the form correction window opens (after the form submission process). However, only a few sections of the IIFT application form can be rectified during the form correction process such as image and signature. Thus, candidates must fill the IIFT entrance exam forms correctly in the first attempt only and make sure to review every field before hitting the submit button. If they fill incorrect details, they will have to register again with a new phone number and email ID and pay the fees too. Incorrect or incomplete forms will be rejected and you may not be allowed to appear for the exam.

IIFT form correction window will be opened after the conclusion of application process. The form correction dates will be announced along with the registration schedule, which is expected in September 2023. During that period, candidate will be allowed to update the following details in their IIFT 2024 application form:

• Photo
• Signature
• Mistake in identification information
• Educational information
• Double fee payment

No other field of the IIFT application form 2024 will be editable. Thus, candidates must fill their IIFT application forms carefully in the first attempt itself. They should cross check each and every field of the application form before submitting the form.

No, there is no discount in IIFT application fees for OBC candidates. Only SC/ST/PwD candidates can avail discount on IIFT application fee. As per the latest notification, the IIFT entrance exam application fee for OBC candidates is INR 2,500, same as that for General category candidates. The fee amount that the SC/ST/PwD candidates have to pay is INR 1,250. Every candidate has to pay the fee at the time of application form submission and in online mode only. The IIFT fee payment is to be done via debit or credit card or net banking. Candidates must note that the IIFT application fee is non-refundable and until the fee is paid, the IIFT application form will not be accepted.

Candidates have to upload the following documents with the IIFT 2024 application form:

• Recent passport-size photo against light colour background
• The photo should not be more than 3 months’ old
• Scanned signature with a black pen on a white background
• Category certificate (SC/ST/PwD certificate if applicable)
• Photo ID issued by the Government of India

Apart from uploading these documents, candidates will need certain other document to fill the IIFT application form without errors. Candidates must keep by their side, class 10 mark sheet, class 12 mark sheet, graduation mark sheet, address proof, date of birth certificate and net banking details.

The IIFT entrance exam is conducted in about 70 cities across India. Candidates can select up to four cities in the application for test centre allotment. The IIFT test centre will be allotted to every candidate in the first city of preference. The IIFT exam is held in Vijaywada, Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, Patna, Bhilai, Bilaspur, Raipur, Delhi, Panaji, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Faridabad, Gurugram, Hissar, Shimla, Jammu, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Bengaluru, Hubli, Mangaluru, Mysore, Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Pune, Thane, Shillong, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Puducherry, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Patiala, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Vellore, Hyderabad, Agra, Allahabad, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Noida, Dehradun, Haldwani, Durgapur, Kolkata and Siliguri.

IIFT exam fee for candidates of different categories is different. Check category-wise IIFT application fees below. 

• General/OBC candidates: INR 2,500
• SC/ST/PH candidates: INR 1,000
• Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI candidates: US $200 (INR 15,000)
  

The IIFT application fee is to be paid at the time of application form filling. Candidates can fill the application form on a particular day and pay the fee later. However, they need to pay the fee before the form submission deadline to be eligible for the IIFT exam. Applications for which fee is not paid, will not be accepted and the candidates will not be eligible to appear in the exam. The exam fee is non-refundable so candidates must not expect fee refund in case of not appearing for the exam or filling the form again due to errors in first one.
