IISc offers a four-year BSc (Research) programme divided into eight semesters. IISc Bangalore BSc is an interdisciplinary programme that covers the disciplines of Engineering, Social Sciences, and Humanities and a one-year research project. The final two semesters are dedicated exclusively to a research project. A total of six major disciplines are offered by Bachelor of Science (Research): Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Materials, Mathematics, and Physics. Ideally, it is a ten-semester course (Optional). Students who opt for the Master of Science programme will take advanced courses and carry out a research project in the fifth year. The difficulty level of CEED exam has been maintained by authorities over the years. IISc Bangalore BSc course admission is based on the entrance exam. IISc Bangalore admission process starts with an online application process. IISc Bangalore GATE cutoff 2026 for the ECE course for the General AI category was 650 in round 1. For the OBC AI category, the round 1 cutoff for the same course was 600. This difference in the score says that the competiton for the General AI category was higher than the OBC AI quota.

Yes, IISc Bangalore does offer M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering. IISc Bangalore offer M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering through Division of Mechanical Sciences. There are a total of 20 seats offered for MTech in Aerospace Engineering and you need to appear for GATE for being eligible to this course.
