IISc offers a four-year BSc (Research) programme divided into eight semesters. IISc Bangalore BSc is an interdisciplinary programme that covers the disciplines of Engineering, Social Sciences, and Humanities and a one-year research project. The final two semesters are dedicated exclusively to a research project. A total of six major disciplines are offered by Bachelor of Science (Research): Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Materials, Mathematics, and Physics. Ideally, it is a ten-semester course (Optional). Students who opt for the Master of Science programme will take advanced courses and carry out a research project in the fifth year. The data regarding JEE Mains cutoff for BTech admissions at IISc Bangalore have not been revealed for the year 2025. The JEE Main cutoff rank for BTech admissions at IISc Bangalore in the previous year was 903 for the general category. So, candidates can assume that the closing rank this year can be somewhere around the previous year's cutoff rank.
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has released the JEE Main cutoff for admission to the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Research), a four- year full-time UG course. As per the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank stood at 903 for the students belonging to the General AI category. For other categories such as OBC, SC and ST, the JEE Main Round 1 closing ranks are 1665, 581 and 314 under the AI quota.
To be eligible for BSc an IISc Bangalore, candidates must meet with the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute and go through the selection rounds accepted by the institute. Details around the same are as follows:

Yes, a student can apply for more than one course based on their qualifications but must fill out appropriate online forms for the same. There is a link that the students will get in their interface ‘Apply for another program’ this link can be used to fill out the application form for another programme. Any other mode of application for multiple programmes might not be accepted. The same can be confirmed from the admission office of IISc Bangalore.
IISER is a compulsory entrance test to get into the IISER Pune. IISER 2026 entrance exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode. The duration of the entrance exam is three hours, from 9 AM to 12 noon.
The application form for the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024 is expected to be released in the second week of April 2024. IISc Bangalore GATE cutoff 2026 for the ECE course for the General AI category was 650 in round 1. For the OBC AI category, the round 1 cutoff for the same course was 600. This difference in the score says that the competiton for the General AI category was higher than the OBC AI quota.

Yes, IISc Bangalore does offer M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering. IISc Bangalore offer M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering through Division of Mechanical Sciences. There are a total of 20 seats offered for MTech in Aerospace Engineering and you need to appear for GATE for being eligible to this course.
