Master of Management Studies (MMS) - Batch of 2018
4.8
One of the best placements among indian universities, beautiful campus life.
Placements: 100% placement records at management studies, which is rare case among Indian B-Schools, but quite usual at IISc. Several sharp minded people to interact with. Average CTC for management studies is around INR 16LPA, as per current status. Huge giants like kpmg, samsung, walmart, jp morgan c, citi bank, shell, de shaw, google, amazon, apple, cognizant, tcs etc. Are the old and still current recruiters.
Infrastructure: Extremely beautiful campus. Specially at summers, campus streets are beautified by red, yellow, orange, blue and pink (5 colours) flower beds, naturally. The campus is accompanied by flora and fauna, making people to observe several beautiful species. Professors are generally IAS officers or Ph.D. holders from IIT or IIM. Single or double B.Ed hostel rooms rae given to students and apartments for married students.
Faculty: Ph.D. holders from IIT or IIM or IAS officers are the faculty members. Course is a bit intensive, as expected by the indian best university, but the value given by the university is sufficient enough to bridge the gap between industry and education. Curriculum has quite flexible grading system for exams. Some profs follow absolute grading, some follow relative and some follow mixed.
Other: Fee structure for M.Tech issuch that government pahs you for your study. For management studies course, there is no pay back by government, however the fees is around 8 times lower than the iims.

The heaven for academics in India, flooded with opportunities to learn more and more.
Placements: Placement has never been a problem in Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science. The average CTC was around 15 LPA last year. Top companies like GE, KPMG, Citi, Walmart, etc. regularly visit the campus. The students also do their internship in respectable companies with an average stipend of around 35-40k per month.
Infrastructure: Every Master of Management student gets a PC in the lab for the entire two years to do their work. The classrooms are very good in quality. Food available in the mess is good enough and better than that in any IIT. Everyone gets a single room very cheaply. Ample opportunity to explore one's ability in sports!
Faculty: The faculty members are the best in India. They are highly knowledgeable as well as very friendly and flexible to approach. Here, the student-teacher ratio is also the best in India. The curriculum (especially of business analytics) is extremely useful. Also, through Friday seminar and internship opportunities, one gets huge industry exposure.
