IISc Bangalore admission is competitive due to high cutoff and limited seats. The entrance tests required for getting admission in the institute are taken by many. IISC Bangalore accepts JEE Main score for BTech admission 2024. The university has different admission criteria as per course requirement. IISc Bangalore offers a four-year BTech in Mathematics and Computing divided into eight semesters. The course is divided into two parts, i.e., Core Courses and Soft Core Courses.

IISC Bangalore cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the MTech programmes. For the General AII India category candidates, the round 1 closing rank ranged between 350 and 665, among which Mechanical Engineering is the most competitive specialisation. In orer to get admission for BTech course at IISC it is not mandatory for a student to clear JEE Mains or advanced for getting admission into Indian institute of Science at Bangalore. The student must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12. In addition, the candidate need to qualify in one of the national tests – KVPY/ IIT-JEE (Main) or (Advance)/ NEET.
