STEP 1: IMU Chennai BSc Application Process
1.1: Go to IMU's official website and click on 'IMU CET.'
1.2: Register on the website.
1.3: Fill in all the academic details, such as passing year, percentage, board name, etc.
1.4: Select the preferred exam centre.
1.5: Attach all necessary documents.
1.6: Pay the IMU Chennai BSc application fee of INR 1000 for general and INR 700 for SC/ST.

STEP 2: Appear for IMUCET
The IMU CET examination is usually conducted in the month of May. The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a national-level admission test. It is conducted in CBT mode annually for admission to BSc courses. Candidates are required to take the exam at a specified time and schedule.
STEP 3: Counselling Process
Candidates are required to go through a counselling process conducted by the campus/ university, which will be opened after the release of the IMU-CET rank list. Candidates must register themselves for counselling through the portal available on campus. This counselling process is usually conducted online. It is advised that the candidate should get his/her medical standards tested first before applying for counselling.
STEP 4: Confirmation of Admissions
Candidates must secure their seat by paying the requisite fee, following the seat allocation and confirmation process, and participating in certificate verification. Classes will commence thereafter. The total tuition fee of the BSc course ranges from INR 7.3 lakh to INR 9.8 lakh.
