Candidates are required to pay INR 500 application fee to submit WBJEE JECA application form. The application fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking. This fee is not charged by the university, but the exam conducting body. Candidates can reach out to the university admission office to get complete details about the application fee.

The applications are accepted by Jadavpur University in online mode. It is necessary that the application is submitted within the due date to be eligible for admission. Candidates seeking admission can follow the steps given below to fill out the application form for Jadavpur University admission: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of Jadavpur University.

Step 2: On its homepage, click on ‘Admissions’ and further click on ‘Online Applications’.

Step 3: Read the admission guidelines carefully. Register by addressing details, including your course specifications, name, guardian details, mobile number, email ID, and address details. 

Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’ once done. Conclude the application process by paying the application fee using a debit card/credit card/net banking.

Step 5: Take a screenshot of the application form for future use.

The time-period required to complete the WB JECA preparation depend mainly on students. Every student has their own pace of study. Ideally, 3-4 month is good enough for completing the WB JECA preparation. Students who have started preparing during their BCA can easily prepare for WB JECA in 4 months considering the topics of exam syllabus have already been studied in BCA.

WB JECA preparation is most effective with BCA as almost 90-95 percent topics are similar in both exams. This way students can easily complete the entire WB JECA syllabus as well as syllabus of BCA. After the graduation exams, students get 2-3 month where they can focus entirely on WB JECA.

Students who have started late for the WB JECA exam can make a 6-month plan where in the first three months they have to focus on revising the syllabus studied in BCA. In the next two months’ focus on solving questions of WB JECA and analyzing the mistakes being made, if any. The last one month should be focused on solving mock tests and WB JECA previous year question papers.
