Jamia Hamdard releases its recent admission guidelines or prospectus on the official website a the start of the admission for each academic year. Students must check the course-wise eligibility and selection criteria and follow the process. Admission to all the courses is either merit or entrance based. For instance, admission to the BTech and MBBS courses are subject to JEE Main and NEET UG exams, However, for courses, such as BCA, admission is subject to merit in Class 12 in the best of five subjects. Additionally,  the deemed-to-be University accepts CUET UG conducted by NTA for a few of its UG courses, namely BA, BA (Hons), BSc (Hons), BBA, BJMC and BCom.

Apart from 1300 B-schools, the CMAT score is also valid for admission through MAH CET CAP. The Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts MBA/MMS admissions for 300 colleges in the state.
