Review by student living life onΒ campus.
Placements: 300 students got placed in our course. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 7 LPA and can be lower. Companies like Infosys, HCL, Flipkart, and Wipro come here for student selection. Roles like CTO, software developer, and full stack developer are offered here. Students do get internshipsΒ here.
Infrastructure: Facilities like classrooms are non-AC. Only the ground floor which are the LT classrooms are smart classes with AC and projector. Other classes also have projectors but without AC. The hostel is good with a lot of facilities like laundry, Wi-Fi and electricity all over. The mess is also good. The food is alsoΒ goodΒ there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable as they were in contact with DU. The syllabus is old-oriented, and many changes have happened, but is good for basic knowledge of CSE. Semester exams are not that hard, and we have to score 50% which includes the sessional exam and external semester, which areΒ theΒ internals.
Other: I chose this course because it has a lot of opportunities and can be used to develop skills and real-time API. Web development, software engineering, and data science are some fields that are in trend right now. These times can be executed by learning CSE and having a degree in CSE. Better education quality and better infrastructure should be improved. Events, fests, and the campus crowd are good. Events keep happening all the way in a month depending on clubsΒ weΒ areΒ in.

    Reality of my college.
Placements: Less than 50 percent of students are placed. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest package is 8 LPA. Deloitte, Big O Notation, etc., are the companies. No internships from the college. Haha, no roles actually. Most of my friends and classmates are doing MBA further or going for further education because the Bachelor's was useless.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi works often, sometimes not. Labs are newly built, so they are fine, but the ACs are broken. The library is fine. It is the only place where you can spend time during the day. Classrooms don't have AC and are not so good. Canteen food is fine but a bit costly. All other facilities are okay too.
Faculty: The curriculum and exams are good as the curriculum is addictive and informative. Exams take place on time, and their difficulty level is medium. Coming to teachers and their knowledge, well, not really good. Some are perfectly fine, but some of them are just there to deliver lectures.

Honest and classified review of Jamia Hamdard.
Placements: Around 300 students got placed in one year, and that is based on the JEE Main score, but some of them didn't even take JEE. So it is easy to get into this college. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. The lowest package offered is low. Infosys, etc., are the top companies of our course. No internship is given to students, and we have to do it all by ourselves. The top roles offered are CTO, SDE, software engineer, andΒ cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is only good at 5G labs. We have a central library building. It has smart 5G labs. The library is also good but does not look like a library. There is no AC, and only fans are available. The hostel is quite good, and it has an NRI hostel and other hostels, which are comparatively good. The food servedΒ isΒ alsoΒ good.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful if we are good in their class/lecture, or else we will be in trouble in the class. The syllabus is quite old, but teachers make it relevant to the industry level. Semester exams are not that tough, and the pass percentage is 50%, including the sessional (internal)Β exam.
Other: It has a lot to do with the CSE core subject because the core can give us a lot to explore in the CSE field, so I chose it. The syllabus and also the way of teaching should be improved. Events and fests also happen in college, so college lifeΒ isΒ goodΒ here.

Enter Jamia Hamdard only for medical courses.
Placements: Placement is really pathetic. We got very few job notifications, and those were for sales only. I don't know why they sent the notifications only a day before, and by a day, it's not even 24 hours. The jobs were only at very small, unknown startups.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was average. Classes didn't have AC. Labs were bad, as the systems were outdated, and some of them needed repair. The teachers conducted very few practical classes. The library was also just average. I was not a hosteller, but the service there was also just fine, not very good or exactly bad.
Faculty: The curriculum was okay, but the teaching method was very bad, as the faculty only provided knowledge in classes and not practical implementation in labs. Though the teachers were qualified, and most of them were PhDs, they just came to class to read the PowerPoint presentations. The course was new and good, as AI and ML are in trend. Exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Python. The course covers all the necessary subjects for its being. The teaching method should definitely be better or be improved. There were events and fests, but I was not interested in them, so I didn't attend them. The campus crowd is also just okay, but sometimes local people do enter and create chaos. Connectivity is a bit difficult, as the metro is far, and then you have to use public transport. The campus is surrounded by the pathetic areas of Sangam Vihar and Tughlakabad.

The best budget friendly college which is excellent in education.
Placements: Jamia Hamdard University is well known for it's medical departments and it is number 1 all over India in pharmacy. If we talk about the engineering department, more than 60% of students get placed from TCS and other well-known companies. The highest package was 35 LPA, and the average package that students get was always around 5-8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Jamia Hamdard is known for it's amazing infrastructure and its amazing architects. Jamia Hamdard was in the leading universities in installing the 5G connection in their labs for the students and other purposes. The classrooms and buildings have an impressive ventilation system. All the classrooms have sufficient fans and light resources, while the classrooms on the ground floor have air conditioning installed in them. Jamia Hamdard also has lift systems in buildings to avoid staircases.
Faculty: Jamia Hamdard is very strict while taking admissions in different courses through JEE, NEET, CUET, CLAT, etc. They focus a lot on the cutoff and 12th marks. While taking the exams, the faculty is very strict, even the flying squad. Otherwise, the faculty is very friendly to each and every student. Jamia Hamdard is a very friendly and diverse university.

Review by a CSE day scholarΒ student.

The hostel is good with a lot of facilities like laundry, Wi-Fi and electricity all over. The mess is also good. The food is alsoΒ goodΒ there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are assistant professors who mostly give lectures. There are also guest faculty members who are highly qualified and well-educated. The course curriculum is not relevant as it has an old syllabus, which is quite basic nowadays and can be done by anyone. However, the fact is there is a degree given after that which is really important. Semester exams are not that difficult, and they are easy to pass by just studying the night beforeΒ theΒ exam.
Other: I chose this course to explore AI in the curriculum and do cybersecurity which sets the basic foundation for ethical hacking. A core CSE course is a gateway for everything we want to specialize in information technology or this relevant industry. Better faculty interaction and behavior should have been there to create a student-friendly environment. Events and fests are totally optional and depend on if we are in societyΒ andΒ clubs.
