It has an excellent crowd, a peaceful campus, amazing faculty, & good placements.

Placements: Our placement in charge said that maximum students of our course got placed. Companies like Taj, Oberoi, and Hyatt are some of the recruiters. Students are hired as managers at the beginning level, and we have many alumni working in the same field who have achieved higher posts and are earning in lacs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not the best as in most private colleges, but facilities are top of the line. There is everything available that you'll need like elevators, Wi-Fi, labs for our course, and the library is the most amazing. I am a day scholar but I heard that it looks very beautiful from the outside and inside like VIP flats. There are many canteens, and some of them are so popular and amazing and some of them are fine. Sports and games facilities are also good and there is a gym too with all the equipment/ We also have table tennis and a basketball court. There is also a sports complex with a football and cricket ground.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are amazing, well qualified and friendly too. Some of them are strict, but that's fine too. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and for our course, they use books from Oxford which is the best for hotel management subjects and it does make us industry-ready. Exams are hard if you don't study and easy if you do. The pass percentage is almost 100% as only those students get into Jamia who are smart enough to at-lest pass the exams on their own.

Other: I opted for hotle management course. When I was deciding which college should I go to, there were many better options available in terms of rating and ranking but many factors of Jamia like the crowd, the fees which is low compared to most of the university, extra activities like taking part in different organisations, cells which helps me to learn a lot and gain more and more experience, make new friends, to find what I'm good ATIT all made Jamia a much better option than other colleges for me. Events and fest are not being held right now because of the covid but it will start again soon as I've heard and in the past, there have been many amazing events, fest with known celebrities. Connectivity is amazing, we have our metro station at a walkable distance. Scholarship programs are held. I haven't taken part in any but if one prepares hard for it, he will get the scholarship. I like our college.

I am satisfied because of good faculty members and good placements.

Placements: About 75% of students from the Bachelor of Hotel Management get placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Taj Hotel, Oberoi, Radisson Hotels, and the Surya Hotel visit the college for placements. Almost 100% of students got from our course got an internship in various 5-star hotels.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. Hostel facilities are good. The quality of food available in the mess is good. Medical facilities are also provided. Sports and games like cricket, football, badminton and table tennis are available here.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. Their teaching quality is awesome. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester examinations are average, and the pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is a professional course.

Review of Jamia Millia Islamia - JMI.

Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Kuoni Travel and MakeMyTrip visit our campus for placements. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship. Maximum students got an internship in Suryaa Hotel and the rest at several local travel agencies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department was well-equipped with everything a student would require to study. Our college provides a library with the subject matter of all course-related books. A computer lab is available for practising CRS software and reservations. Our college has a separate admin office and canteen along with cold freezer for water supply to everyone. The hostel was very well-equipped with lights, bed, a mess, playground and community room. Medical facilities were always available with one doctor 24x7.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly skilled and knowledgeable in their specific fields. However, I feel their teaching quality could have been improved a little with a more student-friendly environment. They were always available and helpful when required. They always helped in the projects and internships.

Other: I have chosen this course to know the people across the world and serve them. I feel the college should make the course more friendly by introducing more one to one sessions with students and faculty. All the year-round the fest was once organised every year, allowing all the colleges from Delhi to participate. Activities like dancing, singing, jam session, etc., are also conducted. The campus is on the main road of Jamia Nagar, which is easily accessible to everyone. In the campus surroundings, there is a hospital, hostel areas and a sports complex. Scholarships are given to students who scored 90% and above in academics.
