How to get admission in JMI? Is CUET compulsory?

Aspiring students are required to register on the official website of JMI and fill the application form online. In the form, fill all the details asked, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. BA, BSc and BVoc courses at JMI have also started accepting the scores of CUET UG . For the same, students need to register for the exam, appear for it and qualify it. Qualified students of CUET UG are required to register for JMI counselling after which merit lists will be released with the name of the shortlisted students. For the remaining courses, however, the university is still accepting national and university-level entrance exam for final selection.

Our university placement is moderate but my department placement is zero.

Placements: Our department placement is not good but our university placement cell is moderate. The highest package is 4 lacs in this branch and the highest is 30 lacs approximately in other departments. There are many top companies also coming for placement, like L&T, KCC, HCL, Finance, construction company and KMPG. In our university, almost 70 percent of students are selected for internships, but our course only has 30 percent internships in the planning department. The most important role of my course understanding of sustainable development and urban and regional basics understanding, economic and social, and environmental studies in my course. Our faculties are not much better due to visiting faculties.

Infrastructure: Our university's facilities is also good and department also provided facilities. Our hostel facility is also good. All facilities, like WiFi, labs, classrooms, sitting arrangements, and libraries, also have good facilities. Our department, along with the Central University Library, is among Asia's top ten libraries. The hostel facility is also so good and the dining hall is hygienic and healthy. The medical facilities is also available on 24*7 in the university.

Faculty: Our university faculties is moderate helpful by the visiting faculties but permanent faculties is also good and helpful and well qualified and good environment and much better bonding between students and facilities, there are highly qualified and most knowledgeable faculties. The teaching quality is mostly good. Our curriculum activities and culture are also good and students are mostly ready for curriculum. The semester exam is also most helpful for studies and helpful or understanding and also tough. The passing percentage is almost 70 to 80 percent in the university and also my department.

Other: Improve the placement facility, especially in the urban planning department. We need to improve some sports facilities.
