The University Placement Cell of JMI has released the placement data for BTech and MCA programs. According to the report, 12 students from MCA and BTech (CS/EE/ECE) were placed by Optum as Software Development Associates with salary package of INR 18 LPA during JMI placements 2024. Earlier, 59.7% of the total students was placed in the IT domain whereas 14.3% and 9.7% students were placed in the Management and Finance domains, respectively during Jamia Millia Islamia placements 2023. Moreover, the Internship distribution rate during JMI placements 2023 was 10%.
Other than this, the placement rate recorded during JMI MCA placements 2023 was 70%. The top recruiters during JMI MCA placements 2023 included TCS, Accenture and HCL. The highest package offered during JMI MCA placements 2023 stood at INR 8 LPA. Further, the highest stipend offered during JMI MCA placements 2023 was INR 40,000. Further, according to media reports, more than 350 students were placed during Jamia Millia Islamia phase 1 placements 2023.
