JNU Delhi Courses & Fees 2026: UG, PG, Doctorate, Certificate Courses

Both JNU and DU offer a two-year full-time MCA course at the postgraduate level. However, the University of Delhi is more popular for its undergraduate courses and Jawaharlal Nehru University is popular for its postgraduate courses. However, Delhi University's median package offered to the MCA students was a bit higher than JNU. Further, during JNU PG placements 2023, the median package offered was INR 9.5 LPA, whereas, the median package stood at INR 16 LPA for DU MCA students.

JNU has a good ranking under the "University" category - 2nd position in NIRF rankings 2025. However, the university has not received a lot of ranking under "Management" category. QS World University Rankings 2026 have been released. According to the same, IIT Kharagpur ranks at #558 under the category "World Universities". 

Candidates with an MBBS degree or an MSc in Nursing or equivalent (with a minimum of 55% aggregate or equivalent grades) and one-year experience in community health are eligible for this course. Admission is based on a CUET-PG followed by an interview. Yes, candidates seeking admission to the JNU MA course must appear for the CUET-PG entrance exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The students are admitted on merit based on their performance in the entrance test and the deprivation points are added to their score in accordance with the approved admission Policy and Procedures of the University. The CUET PG 2023 exam will be held for postgraduate course admissions to over 50 Central and participating Universities.

Both colleges are well-known for providing the best education to the students. For students aiming for admission to DU, the minimum score needed for MA in English programme by the General AI category was 199.  

On the other hand, the minimum score needed for the same programme and category in JNU was 88. Comparing both scores, we can see that the competition for the DU colleges is on the higher side.

As per the JNU CSE cutoff 2026, EWS AI category candidates have to get a rank of at least 6340 in Round 5. Students with a rank lower than the one mentioned here have a better chance of admission. 

The JNU BTech cutoff 2026 was released up to Round 5 for admission to the BTech course and its branches. Students who gave the JEE Main exam and sat for the counselling process are considered eligible for admission. 

No, students cannot apply offline for admission at JNU. The process of application for admission in JNU is done in online mode. For the offline process of registration, the candidate must enquire from the college administration department.
