JNU has not released its 2023 placements report as of now. However, considering the NIRF report 2023, PG 2-year candidates received placement offers in the JNU 2022 placements. As per the information on web, there is no source required to get admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University. The admission process is completely transparent. Students are required to apply for the preferred course. The university considers entrance-exams such as CUET-UG, CUET-PG, JEE Main, etc. for admission to UG and PG courses. Aspirants who fulfil both eligibility and selection requirements get a seat in the university.

Candidates must pass a bachelor's degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology or a four-year BSc (Physician Assistant Course), MBBS/ BDS with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for MSc Biotechnology course. Aspirants need to complete a bachelor's degree in any branch of Basic and Applied Science or Technology including Medicine and Engineering discipline with at least 55% aggregate to apply for MSc Computational and Integrative Sciences.

JNU accepts CUET-UG entrance test scores for admission to the BA (Hons) courses. Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission in UG courses offered in all the participating institutions. Candidates seeking admission to the JNU BA (Hons) course must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45%.

There are over 965 seats for MA courses. The seat reservation policy is carried out as per a set of rules. Reservation of seats in various programmes of study for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer (NCL) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category is 15%, 7.5%, 27% and 10%, respectively. To get admission to JNU for BTech specialisations, candidate must have a valid rank in JEE Main. The cutoff was released for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, for which the last round closing ranks were 33509 and 47591, respectively.

Therefore, 30000 in JEE Main is a good rank to get admission at JNU. 

Yes, getting admission into JNU with 70 score is possible. The cutoff was released for different categories of the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 33.8 to 74.4. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the range of cutoff was between 29.16 and 69.64. With this cutoff range, it is definitely possible to get admission to the college.  

Yes, JNU offers foreign languages under its BA (Hons) programmes such as Arabic, Chinese, French and German among others. JNU offers a three-year full-time BA (Hons) course in English. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University to apply for CUET-UG. Based on CUET-UG scores, JNU will release a merit list of selected candidates to appear for the CUET-UG counselling process for seat allotment.

Jawaharlal Nehru University accepts JEE Main scores, followed by the JoSAA counselling process for admission to the BTech courses. JNU BTech cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1 wherein CSE was the most competitive course with a closing rank of 22669 for the General AI category students. For the OBC category, the cutoff  was 10003 for CSE and 12811 for ECE programmes.
