Steps for JNTUA Admission Process 2025

The admission process at JNTUA follows a set procedure every year. It involves an application process, shortlisting of students, release of merit list, counselling, and seat allotment. Below are the details of each stage of the admission process:
1. To take admission to the courses offered at JNTUH, students are required to visit the official website of the respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies. They need to fill out the application form in online mode.

BTech/ BPharm aspiring students can apply for the programme on the official website of TS EAMCET.
For the MTech/ MSc programme, the students are required to register on the official website of TS PGECET.

For the remaining programme students are required to apply directly from the official website of JNTUA.

2. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) creates a shortlist of students based on their scores in the respective accepted entrance exams, such as TS EAMCET, GATE, GPAT, etc. The state-level exam conducting bodies, such as TS ICET, release course-wise merit lists for MBA and MCA courses, whereas the university itself releases a merit list for courses based on merit or national-level exams.

Placements: In our college, placements are good. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the average salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top companies visiting this college are TCS, DXC, Wipro, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good in our college, like labs with AC and a canteen with different types of items at reasonable prices and a campus hostel for both girls and boys with healthy food. There is a transport facility for local students and limited sports are available.

Faculty: Faculty is good in our college. They are highly educated and well-trained in their subjects, and they are very helpful to us to get good marks and best knowledge. Here we can pass semester exams easily because the passing marks are 21 and the passing percentage is 60 percent.

Best pharmacy college and great placements.

Placements: Nearly 75 percent of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 8 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and Aurobindo Pharma. 70 percent of students got internships. Top roles are production pharmacist and drug inspector.

Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are all subjects. The labs are good and air-conditioned. We have a good library with a number of books. The campus provides good hostel facilities. The hostel provides good food. It can accommodate around 300 students.

Faculty: The faculty in our college are very supportive and friendly. They are highly qualified and experienced. They will explain our doubts. They conduct exams very strictly. They provide good knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant to the subject. The semester exams are difficult and 65 percent is the passing percentage.

Good faculty, every year placements are good, but not very good. Focuses on syllabus.

Placements: Not better, but placements are coming for a few. Hard-working students can get placed. They should focus on skills, technical and non-technical. The college syllabus is lagging behind by 20 years. But now, according to artificial intelligence, we should learn AI tools and AI quantum computing.

Infrastructure: Labs are the worst, most of them do not work. Hostel fee is more when compared to others. It is better to join outside of college as PG. Hostel facilities are limited. Canteen food is average. Sports and games are also there but not much. Medical facilities are available in an emergency.

Faculty: Faculty is good. Most of them are nice, and some are strict. Exams are tough, and paper correction is difficult. The pass percentage is more than 70 percent. They support you if you have better ideas, knowledge, or interest in any activities.

Other: I chose Data Science as a course to become a data analyst. It's better and has opportunities to have jobs, including AI surroundings. The campus crowd is more. Events are extraordinary. Scholarship is good. Extracurricular activities are also there.

Absolutely not satisfied with the college.

Placements: Around 20% of students get placed. The highest package is around 12 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2–3 LPA. TCS and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Around 60–70% of students get internships at companies like TCS and others. The roles offered include Software Engineer, VLSI Engineer, and Data Engineer.

Infrastructure: The college is still running with old infrastructure. There are very few facilities available. Hostel rooms are always messy, and freshers are shown good food and rooms initially. The food is not hygienic, and the taste is also very bad. The rooms are changed to old ones after completing two semesters.

Faculty: They are still following the old curriculum. When we write exams in our own words relevant to the same topic, they do not give marks, even if the answers are correct. Around 80% of students have at least one backlog. It is very difficult to manage exams and clear backlogs at the same time.

Other: I chose ECE because it was my father's wish, and after his passing, I decided to continue with this course. College should improve its teaching curriculum, infrastructure, and overall facilities. There are only two events conducted in the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Around 60% of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 25 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is around 8 LPA offered for the Computer Science course. The top recruiting companies for the CSE branch are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, IBM, Accenture, and Cisco. Around 30% of students get internships at companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, and Infosys from the Computer Science course. The top roles offered are AI/ML, Data Science, and IoT.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good, with smart classrooms, labs, a digital library, and solar power. Other: I chose because it matches my career goals and interests. The course provides good learning facilities, but there are no regular events, fests, or extracurricular activities.

Life at KEC between 2018-2022.

Placements: 60-65% of students got placed in MNCs. 7 LPA was the highest salary package secured from my branch, and 3 LPA was the lowest. Companies that visited campus included TCS, Wipro, Mindtree, HCL, Infosys, Capgemini, and some more startups. Students were placed as trainees, developers, and testers in respective companies.

Infrastructure: We had good college infrastructure that included good labs with internet facilities, playgrounds for students, digital classrooms, and a library equipped with modern books. Good hostel facilities were provided. Students also participated in different sports and games and in competitions.

Faculty: We had friendly faculty members with good knowledge. While I was studying, the college was affiliated to JNTU Anantapuram. So we were allowed to follow the university curriculum. During my course, the curriculum was a bit old, but later, my juniors got good regulations that included modern subjects aligned with the current market.

Other: Tech events and cultural activities were held frequently. There was enough student strength. Everyone was allowed to participate in extracurricular activities.

Courses	Eligibility
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed diploma in engineering/technology or 3 years B.Sc degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects And secured at least 45% marks (40% marks reserved category) from a recognized university.
MCA	Candidate must have passed bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with Mathematics as one of the subject at Intermediate or Degree level with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
