Yes, candidates seeking admission to the JNU MA course must appear for the CUET-PG entrance exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The students are admitted on merit based on their performance in the entrance test and the deprivation points are added to their score in accordance with the approved admission Policy and Procedures of the University. The CUET PG 2023 exam will be held for postgraduate course admissions to over 50 Central and participating Universities.
Total seat intake is 11 for JNU MPH programme. The final seat allotment procedure is carried out in accordance with the seat intake only. It must be noted that the seat count mentioned here is as per external sources. Hence, the actual seat intake may vary. There are over 965 seats for MA courses. The seat reservation policy is carried out as per a set of rules. Reservation of seats in various programmes of study for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer (NCL) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category is 15%, 7.5%, 27% and 10%, respectively. As per the provisions of Rights of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Act, 2016, not less than 5% seats are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
Candidates seeking admission to the JNU MA course must have a BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks. Candidates who have passed BSc/ BCom/ BA with Mathematics at Class 12 or at Graduation level with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, candidates also need to appear for the Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) CUET-PG entrance test.

The cutoff ranks 2024 for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru University other than General category are - 58780 for OBC, 158641 for SC, 251417 for ST, 58661 for EWS, 416895 for PWD. Yes, JNU accepts CAT scores for admission in the MBA course. Candidates must appear for this exam and achieve a valid aggregate in the same. They must also appear for a PI round. Based on these, the merit list is released and selected candidates must appear for verification and pay the tuition fees for admission confirmation.
For JNU BSc course admission, the course aspirant should have passed Class 12 or any equivalent examination with a minimum 45% aggregate from a recognised board. Candidate should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised board. It is also necessary that the student carry the educational document at the time of form filling and admission. The documents are required for verification purposes.
Candidates must pass a bachelor's degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology or a four-year BSc (Physician Assistant Course), MBBS/ BDS with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for MSc Biotechnology course. Aspirants need to complete a bachelor's degree in any branch of Basic and Applied Science or Technology including Medicine and Engineering discipline with at least 55% aggregate to apply for MSc Computational and Integrative Sciences.
