KR Mangalam University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
KR Mangalam University BTech is a four-year undergraduate degree programme, divided into eight specialisations, and offered in full-time mode. The university also offers BTech lateral entry to the Computer Science programme. BTech at KRMU offers several sub specialsiations in CSE through the School of Engineering and Technology, the names of the specialsiations are- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, UX/UI, Data Science, Cyber Security and Full Stack Development. All these courses are offered in association with Xebia, EC Council, IBM, etc. The eligibility criteria required by the university to get admission to BTech course is candidates must qualify their Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory course. For the remaining single course select any course from Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship from any recognized Board/ University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
While admissions are based on JEE Main, UPSEE, AISEEE, CUET UG, scores. However, the final selection is based on Aptitude Test (Online) and Personal Interaction conducted by the university. KR Mangalam University conducts its entrance examination, known as KREE (KR Entrance Exam), for admissions into a range of UG and PG programmes. KR Entrance Exam (KREE) serves as the pathway for admission to the desired BTech course. Eligible candidates must complete the application form, appear for the KREE Entrance Examination, and attend the faculty-led Interview as part of the admission process at the University.

Fees at KR Managal University consist of components such as tuition fees, hostel fees, admission fees, hostel caution money, various one-time charges, etc. The total tuition fees for BTech courses range between INR 5.3 lakh to INR 10.6 lakh. The amount of tuition fee varies based on the specialisation selected by the students. While the hostel fee ranges from INR 5 lakh - INR 6.6 lakh and the security deposit is INR 36,000 (refundable amount).
