To get into Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Engineering student must receive a passing grade in Higher Secondary (+2 or Intermediate) from the State Board, CBSE Matriculation, or any other Board of Education recognised by the State and Central Governments, with a PCM/BPC average of at least 50%. Yes, candidates can pursue a BSc at Kalasalingam University after Class 12 without a Science stream. However, candidates can only pursue selective BSc courses at KARE without a Science stream, i.e., BSc in Catering Science & Hotel Management and BSc in Visual Communication. To get admission into these courses, candidates irrespective of any stream, can apply, but they must secure a minimum aggregate of 50%, and in the selection process for these BSc courses candidates must qualify for KREE/CUET-UG/Merit.
