The admission process involves application form filling and submission, shortlisting of eligible students, merit list release, and seat allotment. Details on each of the admission procedure stages are mentioned below:
1: Kashmir University Application Process
students can apply at Kashmir University either online or offline.
2: Shortlisting of Students
Admission to a few courses is merit-based and for other courses, students are selected based on entrance exam scores such as JEE Main, JKCET, CMAT, and UGAT. Hence, the university shortlists applicants based on aggregate in the last qualifying exam or the accepted entrance exam.
3: Release of Merit List

4: Seat Allotment & Admission Confirmation
Students shortlisted in the merit list are allotted seats. For admission fee submission, students can log in to the online portal (Kashmiri.mponline.gov.in/portal/) and enter the application number. This will enable the challan so that the candidate can deposit the fee online. After fee payment, the candidate's admission is confirmed.

For courses like MBA, M Pharma, BTech and MTech, you have to submit your CMAT, GPAT, JEE Mains and GATE scores. For other courses you have to give a separate entrance exam conducted by the University and based on your merit you will get admission.

Kashmir University B.Ed Admission 2025
Kashmir University's Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course is offered for two years (four semesters). The admission criteria are entrance based. Students are also advised to check the eligibility when filling in the Kashmir University admission form.

The hardcopy of the filled-out application along with INR 750 including IT fee (non-refundable) fee payment receipt and a copy of important documents has to be sent to the Office of the College Development Council.
