I found myself lucky to be a part of this institution.
Placements: In my batch, almost 60% of the candidates got placed in different sectors. The highest package offered was 12 lacs per annum, the lowest package offered was 8 lacs per annum and the average package was 10 lacs. The different recruiting companies were Medley Pharmaceuticals, Amirit Pharmacy and IQVIA. Almost 90% of students got internships from my course at SKIMS in different pharmaceutical industries, like Sun Pharma. The top roles offered in my course include area sales manager, pharmacist trainee, and trainee officer.
Infrastructure: Different facilities that are available in my department are Wi-Fi, hi-tech labs, the departmental library, and projectors for classrooms. The infrastructure of the hostel was very good. A 24-hour Wi-Fi facility was available. Apart from this, there was an AC facilities available in the reading room.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and student-friendly. Their quality of teaching was very good. The exams were being taken on time and the level of the exams was also good. The pass percentage was almost 90%. This course can help students be a part of different industries across the world. Also, this course provides an opportunity to be part of the health sector.
Other: I chose a career in pharmacy because it provides me with the ability to help others through science and healthcare. There should be pharmacy subjects in every college so that people will get to know more about them.

Review of Kashmir University.
Placements: Our college provides fewer placement opportunities. A few students got placed in Glenmark with a salary package of 3 LPA. A few years ago, our super seniors got placed in Medley. The top role offered is in sales. A few students got placed in our college.
Infrastructure: Our department is good and fully furnished. Some labs are under development. Most of them are temperature-controlled with the latest instrumentation. Classrooms are ventilated. Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners and projectors. Wi-Fi facility is available 24X7 in our college. The library has many books related to courses. The hostel rooms are good. The food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and friendly. All of them are doctorates. A few faculty members have post-doctorate degrees. They have good knowledge about their subjects. They always help every student either in the concept clearing or developing the research. Exams are difficult. If you don't study well, you will face many backlogs. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. This course makes students enough potential to work in product development, clinical pharmacy, sales management, etc.

Our college provides good teachers but placements and infrastructure are not better.
Placements: Placements were very low in this college which was a drawback. Only one student got placed in our college. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top roles offered were medical representative and research trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not good. Laboratory was not well-maintained. It also provided a good library. Hostels were good. The food quality was not good. Sports were not conducted. Projectors were available in our classrooms. Wi-Fi was also enabled.
Faculty: The teaching quality was good. Teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was not relevant and it did not make students ready for the industry. Semester exams were difficult, and the pass percentage was 99%.
