Kashmir University admissions are open for all courses. The college offers merit and entrance-based admission to all UG, PG, and Diploma courses. Candidates seeking admission to Kashmir University must fill out the online application form by visiting the university official website.

To be eligible for admission to M.Sc. courses at University of Kashmir, South Campus, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in a relevant topic from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points in order to be considered for admission to the University of Kashmir, South Campus's M.Sc. programs. However, this may differ for specific specialisations or reserved categories. 

Students selected for admission to various courses/programmes in the university are eligible to receive two merit scholarships which are paid to top two merit holders.

Merit scholarship in favour of previous year paid students is granted on the basis of merit in the EnteranceTest to the course and in the final year it is awarded on the basis of merit in the M.A/ M.Sc./ M.Com./ MLIS Previous/ Ist & 2nd semester examination. the scholarship is granted from the date of admission to the course upto the last date of the examination, subject to a maximunm period of 12 calendar months.
