Kurukshetra University (KUK): Admission 2026, Courses, Fees, Placements, Ranking, Cutoff

The total tuition fees for five-year Integrated BA LLB (Hons) course is INR 3.7 lakh-INR 8.7 lakh at Kuruskshetra University. The ranges includes fees of BA LLB (Hons) offered at campus and affiliated colleges. The total tuition fees for BA LLB (Hons) at university campus is INR 3.75 lakh. Aspirants need to pay the programme fees to confirm their seat. 

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.

Kurukshetra University offers admission in MBA based on entrance test conducted by the university. Selected candidates are also called for a group discussion and personal interview round for admission.

Aspirants must have at least 50% aggregate in bachelor's or master's degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanities to apply for B.Ed Special Education at Kurukshetra University. Candidates with bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology with Science and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate can also apply.

Kurukshetra University conducts an entrance test for admission in B.Ed special education. Applicants after passing the test are allotted seat via the university counselling. Candidates must also meet the eligbility for admission.

Kurukshetra University offers admission in BTech course via HSTES Counselling. It is a state-level counselling of Haryana for Engineering courses. Applicants are allotted seat based on their JEE Main rank via counselling.

The MCC conducts the centralised NEET UG Counselling round-wise. Every year, the MCC releases the round-wise Seat Allotment results for Round 1, 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. Only candidates with a NEET UG scores are allowed to be a part of NEET UG Counselling. Candidates clearing the NEET cutoff are allotted a seat in the medical or dental colleges. The courses offered through NEET UG scores are MBBS- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery across the medical and dental colleges.

Aspirants need to submit an identity proof while applying at Kurukshetra University. Candidates can upload Aadhaar Card or Parivar Pehchan Patra. Below are the other required documents:

Kurukshetra University conducts counselling every year after the release of the merit lists. The candidates shortlisted as per the Kurukshetra University merit list 2023 have to attend counselling, to get admission to the university.

After counselling the candidates get provisionally admitted for the particular programme. For admission confirmation, the shortlisted candidates need to submit the admission fees through challan or online mode within the specified period of time.

Yes, according to a college admissions website, the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology, Kurukshetra University, has open admissions for its B.Tech course. The application forms are typically released in May and are available on the Kurukshetra University official website. The institute generally closes admissions for UG courses by the end of July. 

CAT application process for the current year has already been concluded. The exam has also been conducted. The results and answer key are expected to be released at the iimcat.ac.in website. The CAT 2026 registration dates are not announced yet.

The Distance Education B Ed is available. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS (B.ED. PART-I) The eligibility conditions for admission to B.Ed.(2-year) Course through Distance Mode will be as under: - (i) Bachelor/Masters degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) OR 55% in case of BE/B.Tech (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) as per directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. (ii) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (iii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. (iv) The reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of Haryana Govt. (v) Only in-service teachers working in any Recognized Government/Aided/Private School/Educational Institution is eligible. NOTE: (i) The Teaching Experience Certificate will be accepted only on the prescribed proforma given at Annexure- XIII in the Prospectus. In case a candidate has served in more than one Institution (with/without break), he/she should use the photocopy of this proforma for submitting the teaching experience certificates for each institution of service. (ii) The candidates seeking admission in B.Ed. 1st Year should ensure to submit proof of Teaching Experience in a school/other educational institution duly certified by Headmaster/Principal on the prescribed format as per Annexure-XIII. (iii) There will be no rounding off the percentage of marks for determining the eligibility for admission to B.Ed. course. (iv) Admission dues to be paid only after confirmation of admission and on demand from the Directorate after finalization of the merit list for admission to B.Ed. Part-1st. (v) Candidates seeking admission for B.Ed. Part-1st should bring their Original Certificates at the time of Admission/Counseling after the declaration of Merit list by the Directorate.

The syllabus of CAT exam is divided in 3 sections of 40 min each with Verbal Ability (VA) for 24 questions, Data interpretation and logical reasoning for 20 questions and Quantitative Aptitude for 22 questions. The syllabus is pretty easy and quants is only what's taught before 10th in Maths. VA includes 16 question for reading comprehension and 8 for Vocabulary.
