LPU also offers a two-year MA programme in diffeent specialisations as listed in the table below along with their minimum eligibility criteria. Final selection for all MA specialisations is subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e. merit scores in the last qualifying exam. The eligibility criteria for MA is as follows:

Please don't join this college, especially for this course.

Placements: There were no placements offered in Psychology courses at our college. They will offer roles such as HR or positions in any other sector that is not related to Psychology. To find a job related to Psychology, we need to find it on our own. Best option is to secure internships and gain OJT. We can't expect college could provide a job relevant to our course.

Infrastructure: No practical knowledge was provided. They focus only on CA exams. Building of LPU was good, but the chairs should be updated. Hostel was worst, full of illogical rules, no sense in living in a hostel. We can't eat non-veg inside the campus. College was good but not based on food lovers.

Faculty: Course curriculum was the worst, mainly the practical exposure was missing. Faculty members are mixed. Some of them are good, helpful, and knowledgable but most of them are average in teaching and have less knowledge. There were an excessive number of CAs in the name of a star course, 10 CAs in a single batch.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the level of knowledge in people, overall.

Placements: A team of dedicated members are working for our placement in placement cell. They are contacting and calling major companies or organisation to recruit and select students from varied branches and mostly students are getting their interested area of work.

Infrastructure: Every school and department university are getting adequate facilities of every sort. Besides, Hostel and recreational facilities are well taken care of. Although Wi-Fi connectivity and bandwidth along with speed is slow and needs switching. canteen, medical, sports and gaming facilities are indeed good.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supporting in nature. Ample opportunities are chartered in academics as well as in co-recreational areas. The course curriculum totally relevant in today's time and is applied in nature. The course matter taught here is a demand for industry and organizations need.

Other: I choose this course due to understand the core of human nature, it has provided me with deep insight about the human nature and how should I deal with it. I wish the course would include better exposure in the field of working as one should get in future particularly in the field of clinical psychology. Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Campus Surroundings, Scholarship, Extracurricular Activities are all good except Wi-Fi connectivity.

The university is trying to achieve excellence but it will take some time to really get there.

Placements: Placements are not good in journalism dept. There are hardly any companies that recruit from our dept. Internships are compulsory for us and we usually try to get them through various contacts. The professors can help us get some good companies locally.

Infrastructure: Journalism dept has satisfactory infrastructure, well-equipped library Food in hostel is edible most of the time. The hostel rooms are in poor conditions. Sports and other facilities are good but you have to pay extra. There are too many restrictions on girls and almost nothing for boys.

Faculty: Some professors are really good but others don't know what they are talking about. The course is very general and not in depth as it should be at the Masters level. It gives us some idea about the industry but it is more important to do it practically.

Other: The extra curriculum activities are really spectacular.

The experience that groomed my personality.

Placements: In this course placements opportunity are very less through University. As the scope of this course is more academics oriented. If you are planning to do this course that means you are either willing to pursue M.Phil in field to obtain license of psychologist or you planning to go for UGC NET and doctorate in the field to become a professor.

Infrastructure: In this sphere LPU is one wonderful planet to live on. We had every possible facility that could be required to grow us in every sphere of personality. You want to play any sport, you name it its there. You want to learn any art you name it its there. You are a good speaker, you have wonderful opportunity in the literary events. You want to study, every block have their respective libraries with a central library. Hospital is in the campus. A shopping mall is in the campus. Various canteens with all diverse cousin are there in the campus. LPU isn't just a University its a planet of its own.

Faculty: In psychology department the best thing is the faculty. They are most helpful and down to earth humans in this University. They being psychology faculty are more understanding and innovative when it comes to teach and make classrooms interesting. The curriculum not only focus on theory but practical approaches too. Hospital visits are also part of the course.

Other: The best thing about LPU is the life here. It moulds your personality in a very efficient way. It exposes you to every sphere of diversity of India. You gradually become Eve ready for the outside world when you come out of Inside world.

Excellent faculty who open your horizons.

Placements: Placements for our course are low when compared to other streams. However, some students get good placement opportunities as content writers with a highest salary package of 2 lakhs. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 50,000. Companies that visit the campus usually hire students for profiles like content writers and some other fields related to this.

Infrastructure: Lovely Professional University has one of the huge infrastructures among the colleges in India. The campus is spread over 600 acres, and there are more than 50 separate buildings for ever-evolving specialities. A sports complex is also available here, and there are huge playgrounds for various specialisations. Sports trainers are also available here.

Faculty: Our faculty are exceptional with the sole goal of developing the academic and soft skills of students. The good relationships between faculty and students are resulting in smooth and engaging lectures which help the students understand the critical aspects of the subject.

Other: Our college organises an event named One India for the students of different states to connect with each other. They also conduct an event named One world for the students of different countries to connect with each other.

The college couldn't match the expectations. I'm extremely disappointed.

Placements: Mine is the first batch, and it is said that other courses have good placements. Many prominent companies keep visiting the campus for placements and offer good salary and status to students. In fact, the College is known for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. There is no lift in my block and no air conditioners either. Wi-Fi doesn't work well on the campus. The quality of food offered is worst. Hostel rooms are also not very good. Maintenance is not regularly checked. Food from outside is not allowed on the campus which leaves no option but to have campus food only.

Faculty: To some level, the course was useful, but we had very less practical work to do throughout. Teaching methods were not so powerful, and students were less motivated, Faculty members were less in number for a particular course to run properly.
