BBA in Business Analytics 

at MAKAUT, Salt Lake City

At the campus of MAKAUT, BBA is offered in General specialisation along with four other BBA specialised courses are available. These include BBA in Business Analytics, BBA in Hospital Management, BBA in Tourism & Travel Management and BBA in Digital Marketing.

Admission to BBA at MAKAUT is based on the CET exam conducted by the university. Eligible candidates seeking admission must have qualified Class 12 to appear for this exam. Final selected candidates get their names in the merit lists released by the university. Such candidates can pay the admission fee within the pre-defined timelines to book their seats.

No, admission to MAKAUT is based on entrance exams for courses such as BTech. Candidates wanting to get admission to MAKAUT for BTech must qualify West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) exam and WBJEE Counselling. Those willing to get admission in the second year must appear for JELET (for Lateral Entry). MAKAUT also accepts JEE Main exam for BTech admission. 

MAKAUT University accepts both merit and entrance based exam scores. The university conducts CET exam in June for admission to courses such as BSc, MSc, BBA and BCA courses. MAKAUT conducts JEMAT for admission to MBA and MHA courses. It also accepts a few other state/ national-level entrance exams such as WBJEE, PGET,  UGC NET  (including JRF)/ CSIR NET for admission to UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes.

No, candidates do not have the option to change their college under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. If they wish to change, they are required to appear for the necessary entrance test again. However, a few articles on the internet mention that students can change their college after the first year but they are required to clear all the exams of the first year for the same.
