Good but not as good as you might expect.
Placements: The average placement you get from here is decent. In the VLSI department, you can get placements in companies like HCL Tech and TCS. If you are from the CSE or IT department, you will have better placement opportunities. Companies offering placements include TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and others.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is average for boys but better for girls. The campus is secure for everyone, although some issues occasionally occur. Overall, the hostel facility is moderate. Girls' and boys' hostels are in different areas but are not far from each other.
Faculty: In the MAKAUT main campus. Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers who conduct your classes also prepare the semester questions and check your answer sheets, so it is important to attend the classes regularly. However, the guards are very strict during exams.
Other: You can get scholarships like SVMCM to pursue your course.

There are many opportunities to improve, but no one is active enough or held back from doing it.
Placements: The placements for B.Tech are above average, but M.Tech placements are too bad due to poor student quality. Only one company visited and picked a topper student from CSE department. One of our seniors got a job at Infosys, I don't know the package offered, and others are still jobless. A placement cell is available but that works soulfully only for B.Tech students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean, and almost all of them are provided with air-conditioning facilities. Wi-Fi facility is available with moderate speed. Library, games, sports, and medical facilities are a disaster, though the library is available with an average amount of books. Labs for B.Tech are average, but M.Tech labs are wholly depended on students. Canteen food quality is below average. There are no boys hostels available.
Faculty: There are not enough teachers for VLSI department. Those who are available, they are not good enough to teach. There is a lot of communication gap between students and faculty. No enough classes are taken during the semester due to lack of faculty. Most of the exams and lab work of the first year are done by immediate senior batch.
Other: A gym is available in college which is used by none. The campus is only crowded when any exam or function is held. The scholarship is available which is manipulated and abused. The extracurricular activities totally depend on a personal passion of students, college doesn't interfere with it.
