Honest review provided by a final year student.
Placements: About 45-50% students secured placement offers. The highest package offered was 8.1 LPA and the lowest was like 2.4 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, Cognizant, HclTech etc. Not many students secured internship but many secured a permanent job offer. Top roles offered includes Software developed, Analyst, System engineer etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but speed is not up to mark. Classrooms and labs are maintained. Library has average collection of books. Hostel facility is not available. Food available in the canteen is average. Medical facilities are pretty avarage. There is no playground in college. Overall, sports infrastructure is poor. Infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are average and not up to mark.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but they are not helpful at all. Only few teachers are good. Teaching quality is below average. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes us industry ready. The semester exams are pretty much easy to clear as the college is autonomous now. 40 percent were the passing marks previously when it was under Makaut.
Other: I chose this course because it is one of the most demanding fields currently. It can provide knowledge about software. There are many places of improvements like faculty, infrastructure, facilities, etc. The college organizes cultural events and technical events. Regalia is the annual fest. Campus is not so much attractive and well maintained. I don't like it overall. College gives Svmcm scholarship to students. Extracurricular activities are not so much discussed in the college.

Experience with Dramatics Faculty at MAKAUT with average Placement in 2021 (Know Reality).
Placements: Almost 50-60% students were got placed in core jobs in positions like site engineer, foundation engineer, design engineer, material inspector, BIM engineer, transport engineer and others were dove into PSU and State exams. In my placement session, 13lpa was the highest package, which was offered by a construction company, and average was 4-5 LPA and the lowest salary was 2lpa from a local builder. Top recruiting companies are Karmata Engineering, Tata projects, Bentley systems, arpana construction, Infosys, Wipro etc. In this branch, internship chances are very low, since there is no industry exposure available, that is the only negative in this university.
Infrastructure: I would say it was the best campus, I ever had visited. There is sports complex, cafeteria, gym, seminar hall, digital library with enough journals and research papers, auditorium and all the classrooms are advanced with availability of projector and high-speed Wi-Fi connections. In hostels there is water purifier in each floor, CCTV surveillance over the building, Wi-Fi connectivity, dinning hall with a LCD TV and also indoor sports facilities are available. There are 3 options for room charges (1 B.Ed-60k,2 B.Ed-45k,3 B.Ed-30k)and mess fee is same for all I. e. 38k per year and the food quality is much better than hotels.
Faculty: One think that might dissatisfy other state students is the faculty members. You have to deal with facilities with care since internal marks are given by them, apart from that teachers also help to conduct industrial visits, guest lecturers and also helpful in practical classes. The pass percentage is 70% since exams are conducted strictly and question paper is set quite tough to make students ready for PSUs. Essential topics like structure of concrete, materials, highway and transportation are taught in both theory and labs to build up basic concepts, advanced subjects like CAD, hydrolic lab, strength management, geotechnical labs are there.
Other: This university accept students through WBJEE and JEE exams, and also Swami Vivekananda merit based scholarship of amount 60k and other nsp, government funded scholarships, fee exceptions are provided to economical weaker students which is around 30% of actual tuition feels. This institute have to focus on pulling more core job opportunities into campus with higher packages and also bring internship offers for better experience. Events and fests are conducted frequently within the campus and annual sports is conducted by university in which students from other colleges come to the campus and takes part in engineering cup. This university charges 60k for tuition feels.

It is a good private college for local students. It also provides good placement for students.
Placements: When we talk about student placements, around 42%–50% are placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 4 to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS and L&T. Around 40% of students get internships from this course. The top roles they get are supervisor and site engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough for students in the civil department. When we talk about the hostel, the food is decent, but the canteen facilities are not good enough. Medical facilities and sports are conducted according to time.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and professional. They are well-qualified in their education and are very helpful to us. Semester exams are conducted in a decent way. They provide some kind of suggested questions, some of which may come. A good number of students pass.
Other: I chose this course due to family background. The best thing about this course is that it involves site work. Talking about events and fests, they are held. Scholarships are provided for local people.

Absolutely suggest it to others to take admission. It is also accredited by NAAC.
Placements: During the current placement session, around 96 percent of students from my course are placed in different companies. The highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest is about 2 LPA. The average is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Deloitte, Pinnacle, and Debson Pumps.
Infrastructure: We have a very strong building followed by well-maintained labs for every student. We also have a fast Wi-Fi connection. The classrooms are vast and well-lit. Our college provides two separate canteens for students as well as teachers, and they are very clean and provide good food.
Faculty: All teachers from my department as well as other departments are very well behaved and helpful. Everyone is quite specialized in their streams and subjects, which helps us understand them better. The course curriculum is totally relevant to the streams taken. The pass percentage is around 97% every semester.

Techno International New Town offers supportive faculty, good infrastructure, decent placements.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students got placements from our course. The average package offered is around 3-5 LPA, while the highest package is higher for skilled students. Top recruiting companies visited for placements and internships. Roles offered included software developer, support engineer, analyst, and trainee positions.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good with Wi-Fi, computer labs, smart classrooms, and a library. Hostel facilities are decent, and rooms are clean. Mess food quality is average but manageable. Sports and medical facilities are also available for students.
Faculty: Teachers at Techno International New Town are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain subjects clearly and support students in academics and projects. The teaching quality is good, especially for practical and technical subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and provides basic industry knowledge, though students need extra skills and internships to become fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and students who study regularly can pass easily. The overall pass percentage is good, with most students clearing exams successfully every semester.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and better career opportunities. The course provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge through labs and projects. I wish there were more industry-based training and internship opportunities. The college organises technical and cultural fests, sports, and extracurricular activities regularly. The campus environment is friendly, connectivity is good, and scholarship facilities are also available for deserving students.

Techno Main Salt Lake: An average tier-3 private college in Kolkata.
Placements: In ECE about 70 percent of students got placed through campus placement. There are mainly IT-based companies coming to this college. The average package you can expect is 7 LPA. If you are targeting core ECE companies, you may suffer. If you are looking for an internship you have to struggle on your own.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average, they don't have an air-conditioner. They teach on a whiteboard (marker one). This college doesn't have its own hostel you have to live in a PG or rented apartment. The college building is still under construction. This college has only one building and nothing more than that.
Faculty: Faculty are good at their work but they mostly talk in their regional language. The curriculum is average according to today's market demand. Semesters are pretty tough. About 40 percent of students got back in each semester. If you think you will study a night before the exam and get marks then you are in delusion.
Other: Events are bad. This college doesn't have a campus at all, they are taking 7 lakhs and providing only 1 acre of the total college area. In which there are 2 colleges one is Techno Main Salt Lake and another is Techno India University.
