Review of Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Placements: Placements were average in our college, and our college doesn't invite core companies. Most of the companies which visit here are related to the sales domain. Top recruiters for our course were Northern Trust Bank, Amazon, E&Y and many other companies. Most of the students got placed, but the average salary package offered was less than 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Manipal has a best-in-class infrastructure. Hostel life is enjoyable, and it has many facilities. Libraries are well-equipped, and medical facilities are amazing. Students get insurance. There is an arena, which is a world-class sports stadium, and there are sports like basketball, swimming, athletics, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very sincere towards students. The course curriculum is designed extremely well. Various management fests organised here prepare students well for interviews and help to build their confidence.
Other: Campus life here is extremely good, and you have various opportunities to explore. The campus crowd is highly diverse, which helps you to adjust really well. Manipal well adapts to every kind of culture. Cultural fests held here included every kind of talented activity.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty. The college provided 100% of placements in 2016.
Placements: About 20% of students got placed on campus. The highest salary package offered for undergraduates is 4.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like EY GDS, Northern Operating Service and Oracle visited the campus. The role offered as associate and analysts. The highest salary package offered in our course for undergraduates is 4.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. About 100% of students got an internship in different companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities like wireless-fidelity, smart interactive classrooms, iPod examination, library, labs, cafeteria, lounge, and parking facilities are provided. Hostel qualities are extremely good, well maintained and have well equipment. Medical facilities and super fast ambulance service are provided.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and have good knowledge of subjects as well as general things. They support and motivate, and teaching quality was also very good. The BBA course has around 9 specialisations, and students can choose anyone. The course will definitely makes students industry-ready because we have an entire four-semester for an internship, and they provide various seminars where a specialist from industry visit and deliver speech. Department conducts many management mock interviews to make students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am always passionate about the hospitality industry, and hotel management would have focused on the hotel. But this course in hospitality and tourism focuses on the perspective of business as well, and we have an advantage compared to other students. We can change our stream anytime because we are business administration students, but hotel management graduate students cannot do that. In this course, students can learn about overall business management which concentrates on subjects like business communication, economics, principles of management, international business management human resource management, marketing, legal aspects of business, financial statement, interpretation, financial accounting etc., with elective subjects. In the final year, we have subjects of our aspects. Department conducts management fests which are very excited, and crowds are awesome. The campus surroundings are beautiful, and a lot of scholarships are provided for the students.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Placements were good. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Larsen & Toubro, TCS, Infosys visited the campus. Every student got placed. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was around 7 LPA. There was a placement cell which was run by students only. Our whole batch got a summer internship, but the stipend offered was not that high.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good, and students have a bus facility. All the hostel rooms have the air-conditioned facility. Classrooms were equipped with the new technology of teaching, and the cricket ground was a charm. The library was the place where I spend most of my time, and it had a vast majority of books. The food was also very nice.
Faculty: Teaching professors were good. Majority of them are PHD holders. The course curriculum was okay. It could have incorporated a few new technologies. The student to faculty is satisfying, and students can ask the professor whenever they have some doubt. During classes, you can not have industry exposure, but during SIP, I got the experience.
Other: The college organises management fest named cosando. The crowd is very dynamic.

Absolutely satisfied, the college has really good infrastructure, faculty's and good placements.
Placements: Very good placements cell. The companies which came for placements included amazon, Karvy, Goldman Sachs, northern trust etc. Excellent support from the placement cell and many others too. The college also provides assistance in getting internships and most of the students were hired seeing their internship performance itself.
Infrastructure: The campus is really huge. It also has large good number of hostels which includes AC and non AC rooms. The facilities provided for sports and games are fabulous. The campus also has an excellent library. The students are given free medical facilities.
Faculty: The faculty's are really helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is great. The teaching methods are more practical based which includes ppts and industrial visits. The information given by the teachers are very useful and teachers can be approached any time for assistance.

An average institution in terms of education.
Placements: Hardly any company visits the campus to offer internships. During my tenure, only one company visited the campus to offer internships which were further offered as final placements. However, the college helps you with the internships (without stipend). The salary packages offered in the final placements are low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Hostels and the campus are great. The college holds a good reputation which is helpful for students for higher studies or off-campus placements.
Faculty: Quality of education provided in this college is average. Faculty members are average, but definitely, Manipal is a place that every student would love to be. There is no way that the student will not enjoy the college. The brand name of the college pays off. A little industry exposure provided to us.

Placements: Manipal is known for its placement quality. Many MNCs visit the campus for both internships as well as campus placements. They'll ensure that all the students who are not interested in higher education get placed. So overall, the placement quality in MAHE is commendable.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a major plus in MAHE. It is worth the money. It accommodates more than 25,000 students on the campus. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and gym facilities are awesome. There are many canteens on the campus, and the college provides great exposure.
Faculty: Many courses are offered in MAHE. The course curriculum is standard. Every faculty member is an expert in their specialisation, and most of them have done PhDs in their stream. They will also encourage students to do their research works.

The review of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal.
Placements: I got placed in Northern Trust, Bangalore as a financial analyst. Placements are good, although, it depends on the student team. The students get good chances in different companies like Northern Trust, Capgemini, Wipro, Karvy, Collabera, and others. Most of these companies offer sales and marketing profiles, while some companies like Northern Trust and Collabera offer finance profile.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The college is located in greenery, and there are a lot of restaurants and food joints near the area. In addition to that, there are many sports grounds and stadiums available for the students. The building where I studied was located a bit inside the campus of Manipal, and the students need to walk for at least 5 minutes to the college, which can be a pain during the summer and monsoon.
Faculty: Most of the lecturers are well-qualified and passionate about their subjects. Some of them are not much good at teaching, but they encourage other activities like sports, drama, etc. There were a few lecturers, who tried to take advantage of the students, and they were terminated. Most of the faculty members are chilled out, and they teach well and add extra zest to their subjects.
Other: I was offered a scholarship, so I can not speak about the money part. There are many activities conducted after the class hours, which is good, but most of them are done after 5 PM, which may become hectic in the 1st year. But later, in the 2nd or 3rd years, it is manageable. I would advise students to make sure that they don't involve in too many activities in the 1st year, but ensure that they participate in more activities later in the 2nd and 3rd years. Also, the night-life is popular, although I don't know much about it. Drugs are banned on the campus, and those who are caught with it are dealt seriously. I've done BBA in financial markets.

I am satisfied with my college as I have got the best staff, infrastructure, etc.
Placements: Our department has got placement cell, and it works well. The students got the placements on the campus. The average package goes around for 4.5 LPA, and the highest offered till now is 5.5 LPA. The companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, etc., visit the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus can't be compared with others. Manipal University has got the best facilities regarding the hostels, food courts, sports, library, classrooms, labs, etc. In fact, the university has its hospital, i.e., KMC, Manipal, which is one of the leading hospitals in the country.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The student to faculty ratio is 40:1. They have got their benchmarks to be achieved by the university itself, which makes them to be more efficient and effective. The PPTs are used by them to make lectures more effective for the students. The exams are taken on e-pads to make it paper-free, which is easy for the teachers as well as students.
Other: Lots of events take place on the campus. Every department has got their events. The surroundings around the campus are beautiful. The scholarships are also provided by the university.

Yes, eligibility criteria to get an admission in any undergraduate programmes is 10+2 or HSC in any stream with certain predefined percentage.
