B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty and good placement in the year 2024.
Placements: 70 to 80 percent of students got placed during the last academic year. According to the seniors and the department and I got to know that the people in the particular section are very helpful during placements. The highest package is 47 LPA and the average is 10 LPA for the B.Tech CSE core course.
Infrastructure: MIT has the best kinds of classrooms, faculty rooms, a big library, and labs that are very well-equipped, and the cleanliness is very good as compared to other colleges. I personally loved the infrastructure of both the college and hostel, and the mess food is also healthy and good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, highly qualified and understandable. The teaching quality is so good. Everything is very well prepared, and the course is taught in such a lovely way that we can understand everything step by step without getting confused. The course makes the students industry-ready. We too have a part called ESD in which we get truly ready for the industry. The semester exams are handled very well. The papers are intermediate and the passing percentage is 95 percent.
Other: I wanted to add this thing that I was late, like 2 months late, for the admission still my faculty members and the college staff helped me to cover up all the backlogs which I wasn't able to attend due to some reason, and truly the college is worth it.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2028

MIT-WPU is a very good college.
Placements: Placements are around 78.5% university-wide. The highest package in civil is 8 LPA, the average package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is not officially disclosed. Top recruiters are Afcons Infrastructure, Reliance, Megha Engineering, etc. Top roles are Site Engineer, Structural Designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. Labs are high-tech, clean, and comfortable. Classrooms are modern. They are clean and tidy, with smart boards. The benches are also comfortable. Library is also very nice, big, and beautiful. I don't live in a hostel, so I cannot comment on it. The sports and games are very good, with a separate sports complex.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have very good experience in teaching and are very helpful to students. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes the student 100% industry-ready and has internships also. Semester exams are difficult for those who don't study, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I have an interest in civil, which is why I chose it. The best thing about the college is the campus and college life.

BBA (Hons.) in Digital Marketing - Batch of 2027
Offered by School of Business, MIT WPU

Good infrastructure and other amenities are provided with a decent curriculum and faculty.
Placements: Many big names like Cognizant, HDFC, Accenture, and other companies come for campus placements. However, the placement rate is average. MIT-WPU does not offer 100% placements. The rate can be considered medium to medium-good. Students are not to rely solely on the college for placements and job opportunities. They must also focus on networking and off-campus sources for better chances of getting hired for jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the School of Business under MIT-WPU is decent and well maintained. Recently, SOB has undergone redevelopment of its infrastructure, which is expected to be completely done by the first week of September 2026. Classrooms and infrastructure have greatly improved. It is a very anticipated project. MIT-WPU has hostels at Bavdhan, Karve Nagar, Ambegaon, and Kothrud. Facilities are decent. The food quality is not up to the mark. It is a concern for many students staying at the hostels.
Faculty: The BBA course is divided into a 60-40 assessment pattern. This includes 60% internal exams: two 15-mark assessments and one 30-mark mid-term. 40% is the final exam conducted by university. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics and projects to give practical knowledge as well. Teachers are helpful, and the semester exams are moderately easy, although it differs for everyone. Since 60% of the grade is focused on internals, presentations, internal tests, and class activities become equally, or rather even more, important than final written tests to determine the final CGPA.
Other: MIT-WPU is very well known for hosting various fests, events, and conferences. There are various clubs and forums that students can become a member of, like the Psychology Club, NCC Troops, Writers Club, HR Forum, Aarohan Club, etc. The college also provides various cafes and canteen facilities within the campus, as well as a very vast library with a wide collection of literature. The college crowd is good. Campus is always bustling with students. Overall, it is a decent college for completing a degree and enjoying college life.

It's the best department, with well-educated faculty, and the crowd is also good.
Placements: The highest package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like Cipla and Glenmark recruit students. 80% of students got placements. Internships help in learning about your course. In B.Pharma, internships are very important, and the internship ratio is best. Teachers explain well. Top roles offered are Executive Officer in the pharmacy industry.
Infrastructure: In pharmacy, all types of instruments and chemicals are available as per requirements. Mess food is also good. Canteen and medical facilities are available. Sports and games in the pharmacy department happen twice a year. Labs and classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The passing percentage is 50%. The teaching quality is best. Teachers explain each and every doubt of students. Semester exams are not difficult if you pay attention in the classroom. It will help you in the best way. The course curriculum is relevant to the pharmacy field.
Other: Choosing a course like pharmacy is to serve the people in the medical field.

Save your time and money, do not take admission here, and protect your future.
Placements: Placement is very poor. Companies start coming in October. Around 90% of the companies offer sales roles, mostly in real estate. The average package offered is 5–6 LPA, and the highest package is 17 LPA offered by Federal Bank. Also, only 5–6 companies offer packages above 10 LPA. After paying around Rs. 10 lakhs in fees, students are getting jobs with 6 LPA. Every student, whether from Marketing, Finance, Operations, or HR, sits for the same companies. Marketing students doing sales jobs is understandable, but Business Analytics and Finance students also end up in sales roles in real estate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in terms of everything. There are smart classrooms with centralized AC. University has a library, sports complex, and canteen. The campus is well-maintained. The surrounding area is also good. I stayed in a PG near university, so I do not have much knowledge about the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty-wise, it is good. Teachers are well-qualified. They have good knowledge of the subjects. However, most of them do not take the job seriously or teach in depth. The curriculum is changed every year according to market trends. In terms of exams, there are FAT 1, FAT 2, mid-term, and end-term examinations.
Other: If you want only a degree, you can apply for admission. But if you want to build your career, this may not be the right college. If you are a fresher, it is better to take a drop, prepare for CAT, and join a top B-school instead of wasting time and money here. Normally, top B-schools intake 300–400 students, but here, around 1600 students are admitted just for MBA.

All the things you need to know before coming to MIT WPU.
Placements: The placement percentage was around 70%. 2. The highest package someone got from my batch was around 20-24 LPA, and the lowest someone got was around 3 LPA. The top companies were Wipro and Tata. It was about 65%, and the majority was in Wipro.
Infrastructure: Absolutely perfect environment and infrastructure for the course. Wi-Fi all around the place, digital boards, AC labs, everything. Food quality is also good in the canteen, as it also serves the hostel students. Hostels are also good, and they mostly have AC's.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified, but yes, some are qualified but aren't that knowledgeable. The curriculum is 100% relevant. It does make one industry-ready. The exams are quite difficult, and you really need to study the core concepts to understand everything.
Other: Maybe college can look into the fest and events thing and try not to put events during exam weeks.
