NLSIU Bangalore LLM Eligibility &Highlights 2025
NLSIU Bangalore LLM is a one-year course offered in a full-time mode. The PG-level course curriculum is spread across three trimesters every academic year with a blend of core and elective courses. The LLM course for the academic year 2025 is offered in four concentrations Public Law, Criminal Law, Commercial Laws, and Law and Technology.
Admission to the LLM course is subject to a valid score on Comthe mon Law Admission Test, known as CLAT. Additionally, candidates are required to go through the CLAT counseling process conducted by CNLU for final seat allotment. Candidates must also have a valid LLM eligibility criteria: LL.B. degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate for General/OBC/PWD categories, and 45% for SC/ST categories. Further, for international applicants NLSIU accepts NLSAT – International Examination.

NLSIU Bangalore LLM Fees 2025
NLSIU Bangalore LLM fees include multiple components, such as tuition, admission, application, and other one-time charges. The fee structure of NLSIU Bangalore may differ for foreign nationals & NRI/NRI-sponsored students. Candidates can pay the fees semesterly/ annually based on their choice. For admission to the NLSIU Bangalore LLM programme, CLAT 2025 registrations are ongoing. The LLM 2024 admission is closed concluded now. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced the exam date of CLAT 2025. The Consortium will conduct the CLAT 2025 Exam on December 1, 2024. NLSIU Bangalore LLM Cutoff 2024
NLSIU Bangalore LLM admission is based on the CLAT counseling process. CLAT counseling is held up to six rounds. Selected candidates must pay the confirmation fee to Consortium for freeze and float options for admission to NLUs against each Allotment List within the prescribed time. During the NLSIU Clat cutoff 2024, the cutoff list was released up to five rounds, wherein the last round closing cutoff for the LLM was 239. NLSIU Bangalore LLM Curriculum
NLSIU Bangalore LLM curriculum is offered in trisemester for one academic year. The university education system follows the credit system to grade students. The LLM course has a total of 48 credits for the core, elective subjects and extra 4 credits for dissertation. Students who are opting for the general stream will be taking general electives in lieu of the concentration electives. The LLM curriculum are tentative and is subject to change. NLSIU Bangalore offers a limited number of seats for the LLM programme. LLM seats are allotted only to students who are listed on the final merit lists. As per NLU Bangalore NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during NLU Bangalore placements 2023 for UG 5-year program stood at INR 16 LPA, Further, 56 students were placed out of 74 students and 15 students opted for higher studies during NLSIU Bangalore UG 5-year placements 2023. Earlier, the institute released the NIRF report 2023 on its official website. According to the NIRF report 2023, 65 BA LLB (Hons) and 22 PG (1-year) students were placed during NLU Bangalore placements 2022. Further, the median package offered during NLSIU Bangalore placements was INR 16 LPA for BA LLB (Hons) students and INR 8.25 LPA for PG (1-year) students.
