NU also offers two modes of admission. EAD refers to the Early Admission mode. Under EAD, students apply to their desired programme before appearing for their Class 12 board examinations. The minimum cutoff for admission to NIIT University depends on various factors and may vary from year to year. However, the university has set some eligibility criteria for different courses. For BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, a candidate must score a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in Class 10 in five subjects (compulsory subjects)  For admission to BTech, a candidate must have scored ≥ Grade 4 in IB Board or minimum Grade C in Cambridge IGCSE Board or have a valid JEE Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ NEET/Any State Entrance Exam score. For admission to the PhD course, a candidate must have a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognised university + UGC NET/ GATE/ NUAT. The university also offers 4-year Integrated MBA, 4-year Integrated MSc, and 3-year BBA courses.

NIIT University will refund the fee deposited by candidates during admission if they withdraw their admission from the integrated BSc programme offered at NIIT University within a stipulated time period. The University follows the fee refund policy defined by UGC.
