NIT Trichy offers a two-year MSc course across four specialisations. This course is taught through the Department of Computer Applications, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. NIT Trichy accepts admission to MSc through the IIT JAM entrance exam, which is conducted by IITs for selection to MSc courses. The admission process gets completed with the CCMN Counselling round. NIT Trichy admission process is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are required to qualify for national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, IIT JAM, CAT, etc., for the respective courses. NIT Trichy does not conduct any in-house entrance test. It grant admission to the courses on the basis of merit in national-level examinations.
