For admission to BA LLB (Hons) course at NLUJAA candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2025 counselling will be called by NLUJAA through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. Those, who have been allotted a seat in the NLU Assam Provisional Allotment Lists, must complete the process of exercising any one of the actions mentioned below:

1. Accept the allotted seat
2. Apply for Revise
3. Exit from the CLAT admission process

If alloted seat is accepted by the candidate. After, that the candidates need to report to NLU Assam for admission. The admission confirmation requires, documents submission and fees submission by the candidates through the official portal of NLU Assam. 

For admission to NLU Assam for the LLB or LLM course, the result of CLAT 2024 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CLAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for NLU Assam admission via CLAT counselling and seat allotment.

CLAT 2024 result contains details like the candidate's overall and sectional scores, and merit rank. Those who will qualify CLAT 2024 by meeting the required minimum cutoff as per the merit list are called for counselling process for seat allotment.

Note that for admission to the 5-year LLB or LLM courses, the candidate will have to meet the CLAT 2024 cut-off in their respective category. The CLAT 2024 merit rank list will be shared at the time of admission and seat allotments. Candidates ranked higher in CLAT 2024 merit list will be given preference during the seat allotment process.

The official college website currently has not released any information regarding the placement of LLM. Details regarding the placements of BAs and LLBs are available in the NIRF report. The placement information for the 2023 graduating class is still pending in the official site. On its official website, the institute has, nevertheless, made available the NIRF report for 2023. One BA LLB (Hons) student was placed at NLU Assam placements in 2021, according the NIRF report 2023. Additionally, INR 7.63 LPA was the median package provided to BA LLB students during NLU Assam placements in 2021.

Located in Guwahati, Assam, India, National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJA or NLUJAA) is a national law university. It was founded in 2009 as a public university specialising in legal education by an Act approved by the Assamese State Legislature (Assam Act XXV of 2009). By passing the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009, the Assam government established the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA). It's one of India's autonomous law schools. In 2021 the institute was ranked 20 among the law universities by NIRF. The NLUJAA offers a one-year degree curriculum in LLM and a five-year integrated course in BA-LLB (Hons). A PhD in law is also offered by the university. National Law University offers admission based on merit and entrance exams. Aspiring candidates qualify the eligibility criteria set by the univeristy for the admission. After filling out the application form for National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam admissions, candidates must appear for the CLAT exam followed by the exam's counselling process. NLU Assam offers a total of 60 seats for admission to BA LLB (Hons). The admission are based on CLAT score. For admission to one-year LLM at NLU Assam, the CLAT test will be conducted on Dec 3, 2023. Aspirants of NLU Assam are required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. Candidates can complete the CLAT registration 2024 until Nov 3, 2023 in online mode. The exam will take place in more than 125 cities listed as CLAT 2024 test centres in 22 states and UTs. The detailed schedule of CLAT 2024 will be declared soon along with the CLAT Exam Centers 2024.

• The CLAT question paper for undergraduate courses has total 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language,   Logical Reasoning,   Legal Reasoning,  CLAT Affairs including General Knowledge and Quantitative Techniques. 

• The CLAT LLM question paper has both objective- and subjective-type questions. However, last year, the CLAT Consortium removed the descriptive section from the LLM paper. Check complete CLAT 2024 exam pattern for LLM.

CLAT 2024 dates for admission to NLU Assam are out. Students seeking admission to LLM course offered at National Law University Assam can apply for CLAT 2024 on or before Nov 3, 2023 since the applications are currently ongoing. Only students who fill out the application form as well as, pay the fee are issued admit cards to appear for CLAT exam 2024. Students can log in using their registered mobile number and password to update their preferences in CLAT 2024 application form. 

Conducted in pen-and-paper mode, candidates have to attempt questions from English, Current Affairs and GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Mathematics for UG course, and from Constitutional Law, and other law subjects like Jurisprudence, Torts, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law, and IPR. For admission 2024 at NLU Assam, the exam is scheduled for Dec 3, 2023.

National Law University Assam admission to all the programmes is done online through the official website of the university. Find below the detailed admission process followed by NLU Assam for admission:

Step 1: For NLU Assam admissions to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programme registrations are done through CLAT. Candidates must visit the official website of CNLU to apply for CLAT.  

Step 2: The registered candidates are required to appear for CLAT entrance exam for admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes. After that, candidates willing to get admission in BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes, have to go through the CLAT counselling process for acceptance of seats. To confirm the allotment, candidates have to accept the seat allotment, after that the allotment will get frozen.

Step 3: Candidates who will accept the allotted seat need to upload all the required documents on the official portal. After that candidates, will be required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats within a stipulated deadline.
