We don't have a department library so this is a dissatisfied part. But overall experience is good.

Placements: Almost 70% of students have gotten placement and 30% doing further studies. The highest package, in my knowledge, is 9.6 LPA. 100% students got internships in hospital and companies like mindray, Philips, etc. top roles offered in my course are service and sales engineer, maintenance engineer, and design engineer .

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi facilities in our hostels and departments. Lab rooms are also there, and there are many pieces of equipment. All the classrooms have projectors and smart boards. The hostel food is quite good. Medical facilities like ambulances and one health centre are also available at our university. For sports, there is a football field, a basketball court, a cricket field, and a volleyball field at our university.

Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable at our university. They have done their post-graduation and Ph.D. from IIT and NIT. They provide us with learning materials that are very helpful for preparing for our exams. They teach us very well. We have a common hall for all the engineering departments where we all give exams together. Two facilities from each department will be present as examination guards.

I do not like this college because they do not provide placement facilities.

Placements: Around 40 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 10.8 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 2.3 lakhs per annum, with an average package of 6.5 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Cognizant, and EY Global Delivery Service. Total 60 percent of students got internships in Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities available in our college are not that good, but the infrastructure is good. They provide poor Wi-Fi facilities, classrooms, labs, and a library with all necessary books. The hostel is not great, but they provide food facilities with a clean mess. They also offer medical facilities in emergencies and provide sports and games equipment.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and they help us in learning more and more. Our subjects are curriculum relevant, which helps in being industry-ready. The semesters are difficult, and we cannot pass easily, but it is possible to pass. The passing percentage is 40 percent.

It's a nice college with the best placements.

Placements: There are around 250 students in our batch. The average package provided is 8LPA. Our course provides the best and most updated concepts, along with the latest testing and analysis methods. The top roles offered are Tester and Analyzer. Around 75% of students take internships.

Infrastructure: The labs have good computers. The classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The infrastructure of the college is nice. A student has all the facilities they need in a college and hostel. There are air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi services, and a library with proper book facilities. There is a mess, canteen, and a Maggi hotspot for food facilities.

Faculty: Our NEUT teachers have many Ph.D. holders who are very experienced. The professors are highly educated and have practical and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is updated according to the changes. The teachers are very knowledgeable and kind, providing knowledge of the latest technologies.

The campus life is the best part of NEHU. Placements are average, and facilities are good.

Placements: Around 20-25% of the students got placed in our course. Medical coding designer, technical support, etc., were the top roles offered to students. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 45,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The highest salary package offered was 5LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Bosch, Wipro, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Almost 25% of the students got internships.

Infrastructure: The college surrounding and location is very peaceful. Every facility like Wi-Fi, library, are first class. Especially, the labs are very good. The hostel is average, but the campus is lush greenery. Hostel facilities are awesome, starting from medical to sports and game.

Faculty: All the faculty members are well-qualified. All of them are PhD holders, and hence the quality of teaching is excellent. Academics and course curriculum is relevant to the prescribed course, thus making the students ready for the industry.

This university is quite good.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite low. Very least number of students got placed, i.e., about 30% of the total number of students. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000-35,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Many students got internships from college, but all those internships are unpaid.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. All facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, medical facility, sports and games are good. Quantity of food served is less. The food served is not better than others. Hostel rooms are good. But the facility of Wi-Fi in the hostel is not that good. There are a few numbers of routers in hostels.

Faculty: Teachers in lour college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is quite good. They make their presentation on their own and make us understand. The course curriculum is useful but enough. Teachers are good and friendly.

I am satisfied with the beautiful campus and faculty, but not by the university curriculum.

Placements: I am not satisfied with the placements. Very few companies visited for placements, and the companies visited were not for our BME department, only one company visited for core BME this year. Placements are pathetic, to be honest. Very few rated companies were invited and only a few departments were given preference and priority. The career counselling cell office staff are not responsive.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are satisfactory except for the food. The quality of the food is not good. Otherwise, all the facilities are good. The library is very well maintained and also the health facilities are well provided. Hostel rooms are good till its three sharing unless they turn it into four or five sharing.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and well qualified. The course curriculum is average. It includes very less work and more other curricular activities like games and functions. Guest faculty are very less available, and sometimes courses are completed within one month, which is way too soon.

Other: No fest has been hosted since last four years other than Varsity fest. Campus surroundings are undoubtedly beautiful, but scholarship is not granted as per the schedule.

NEHU. The most beautiful campus.

Placements: I'm placed in the second the largest IT company in the world Infosys. Placements are there with decent package. All seniors are working well. There's a placement cell. This year almost 20 companies came for placement. They all are well known and they hired 3,4 students minimum.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi available. Lab, classroom, library are very advance with all facilities. Health centre provides free treatment and medicine to students. Awesome indoor, outdoor spots facility. Laboratories have advanced machines n equipments which are very updated.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified in best universities in india and abroad. They are very helpful. They organise many trainings to upgrade students knowledge. For engineering students they used to organize industrial trainung in different industries. We had hospital visits to experience how biomedical engineers work there.

Other: Trust me, no other campus can be more beautiful than mine. Its in Shillong, the music city, the scotland of india. So many cultural programme, fest happens here every year.

It is a great campus to learn about subjects and life as well.

Placements: Placement in the department is not quite good. I was from the second batch of the department. But as the college is growing, the placement opportunities are also increasing. Even though the students are not getting placed from college, almost 80% of the students are placed through off-campus and working as clinical engineers. Some are also involved in research projects around the country. Students of the department also go for placements in other sectors.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department is pretty good. It has one of the best lab facilities in the entire North East. Biomedical department of NEHU holds the only GAIT lab in the northeast region. There are a sufficient number of module and labs available for everyone. The library on the campus is the biggest in Northeast. The medical centre of the college has 4 doctors who are available all the time. Sports facilities on the campus contains 2 outdoor and an indoor stadium.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very well designed by the faculty members. The department has in house faculty members for almost every subject. Some faculty members are also invited from other institutes to conduct guest lectures. Most of the faculty members are from IITs and NITs.
