I am a bit dissatisfied with the infrastructure, but the placements are very good.

Placements: Last year in 2020, 33 students out of 61 got placed in different companies in the food technology branch. 7 LPA is the highest package, and 2.6 LPA is the lowest package offered here. 4 LPA was the average package offered. Top recruiters for food technology are Bikanerwala Foods Pvt., Ltd., Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Hector Food Pvt., Ltd., etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities available in our college are slightly better than other government and some other private colleges. The campus environment is really good for those who want to stay away from city life and live in a peaceful place, as this place is in a village named Longwal in Sangrur district. The campus takes care of every need of students, including banks, ATM, shopping complex, and there is also a student activity complex that includes a big gym and other sports areas.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are among the best. Most of them are PhD holders. They have really splendid teaching skills. The campus will surely prepare you for the industry. Although if you study decently, you will pass every exam.

Other: The best thing about food technology is that it is the future. There's no future without food, and in this world of globalisation, people are opting for processed food over homemade food. There is incredible potential in this course in the next 5 years.

I am satisfied with all the facilities provided by the college.

Placements: Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is deemed to be university located in Longowal, Sangrur. Placements in our college are good. Training and placement cell of our college is working for placements of students. Basically, the placement percentage varies from company to company. Some companies demand that students should have 70% in academics, while some are recruiting students with 50%. Top recruiting companies like Nestle, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Haldiram, Bonn, MS Bakers, etc., visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of labs and department is maintained very well. Hostel environment and infrastructure are good. There is a health centre where students get basic regular medicines. In an emergency, our college health centre provides ambulance service. Our college provides well-equipped classrooms and labs, which help students to learn more. Our college provides free Wi-Fi facility, newspapers and sports tools. Shops are also available on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are knowledgeable and experienced. They are very helpful, and they solve all the doubts of students. There is an appropriate environment for students to study.

It is the best college for middle-class students in terms of fees structure.

Placements: Approximately 100% of the students have been placed. They got the lowest salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. Approximately every MNC and food industry hires students from this college for work with a high salary package. Almost 90% of the students got internships in Beverage and bakery plants like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nestle, Haldiram, Bikano, Mother Dairy, Bonn, Dabour, Patanjali, and in Authorised Lab. Nowadays food sector growing very fast, so food technology students will have very high demand. The future of these sectors is also good.

Infrastructure: The campus is huge. The campus is lush green. The infrastructure is very good, and for every department, there are separate infrastructure facilities. The lab is equipped with new technology equipment. Hostel and mess facilities are also available, and study charges are very less. Medical facilities are very nice. Our college promotes sports also for health purpose and career goals.

Faculty: All the teachers here were well mannered, highly educated and work for students future. Their teaching quality is very good. The new technology is used for quality testing equipment, and practicals provided for students are very nice. The lab is equipped with instruments.

Other: I chose this course because food technology is a huge field. Nowadays there is a demand for food technology because day by day, the food sector is growing very fast.

Good infrastructure with well-equipped labs and seminar hall.

Placements: The placement is good. Almost all of my seniors have been placed. Some reputed companies which visited are Nestle, Mother Dairy, etc. An average salary of about 25k is given to the senior students. Many of our seniors prefer off-campus placements.

Infrastructure: SLIET infrastructure is good and the laboratories are well-equipped. Wi-Fi speed is appreciably good and the library contains good reference books. But we find it difficult to issue books which are useful and in demand. I would rate the sports facilities 3 out of 5. The food quality is average. I would rate the hostel 4 out of 5.

Faculty: The faculty members are always ready to help but the science department faculty members are strict. The faculty members of my department are from a good educational background. Many of our professors have specialised Ph.D. in their subjects. Some of the faculty members provide industry exposure. The teaching methods are appreciable.

Better option as compared to most other engineering colleges of India.

Placements: The placement is average. The average package may range from 2.5-6 LPA, while the maximum the students got from here is 15 LPA. Reputed companies like L&T, Honda, Godrej, Bajaj, TCS, Wipro, HP, Dell, Nestle, Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra, and much more visit the campus. The department of training and placement provides adequate opportunities for the placement, but at last, it depends on individual performance.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is remarkably better than many other institutes. The whole campus (451 acres) is Wi-Fi connected. Each department has a sufficient lab with mechanical department having one of the biggest workshops in northern India. Digital library facilities are available along with a sports complex and a cricket stadium. The institute has its own health centre and an ambulance. There are 10 boys' hostels, 3 girls' hostels and 1 PG hostel. Each hostel has its own mess facility. However, the food quality is average. The college has its separate science department with established physics and chemistry laboratories.

Faculty: The institute has well-qualified faculty members. They are experienced and have a good knowledge. The student to faculty ratio is 35:1 which is considered good. Most of the faculty members are helpful, and the teaching methods include theoretical along with practical classes. The student has to compulsorily attend industrial training as a part of the course curriculum. So, overall, it is good.

It provides good facilities.

Placements: 87 percent of students get placed. The package offered ranges from 1.50-3.50 LPA. Students should pass +2 to get admission here. 65 percent of students get internships. It offers many different options, but it didn't offer any other option for the team to sign them. They did not provide a contract, so students did not have to sign a contract with the club.. It is fine and not so difficult to get a job in the first place. I am able to get a good job in the second place. I am very happy to be able to get a degree in my first year.

Infrastructure: There are more than 5 labs. It has a well-developed library. It has neat and clean classrooms. There are good facilities. We get better quality and better facilities. Classrooms are better here than in any other college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Our college has better staff members than any other university.

Other: I chose this course because it has better jobs than other colleges.

Absolutely amazing college life, little problem with campus placements .

Placements: Tata, Mahindra, Glyrrico, Cremica are the companies which have recruited students from my institute, the highest package Till date of any branch is 22LPA in which mechanical has 22 LPA, CS has 18LPA, Food Technology has 16LPA, Chemical has the highest 18LPA .

Infrastructure: We have limited Wi-Fi, every student has their own Wi-Fi ID, Hostels are great in terms of infrastructure but the Mess Food is not that great but it eatable and not harmful, students who are trying to work and uplift their skills can easily do it here.

Faculty: Department of FET SLIET is one of the best in the whole country from my point of you, Your professors and scholars and Lab Technician all will help you continuously and guide you for your betterment, it will improve you speaking skills and representing skills .

Other: There are more than 30 clubs in this college, we have one Technical Fest and Cultural Fest Madhuram, all the clubs and societies will always keep you engaged and scholarships are also available .
