BSc in Animation & Multimedia at PMU is a UG-level course extended over three years. The course duration is further divided into six semesters. Each semester comprises core and elective subjects. The scholarships are awarded to the students of UG courses like BSc, BCom and BA based on their performance in Class 12. The sanctioned scholarship will be given throughout the programme subject to the fulfilment of the condition that the student has passed all the semester exams and has a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year.

The University has successfully concluded the 2023 placements. A total of 678 students registered for the 2023 drive, out of which 581 were successfully placed. Yes, JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) marks are accepted by Periyar Maniammai University for admission to its engineering majors. Applicants may apply for admission to Periyar Maniammai University's B.Tech programs if they have taken the JEE Main entrance test and have a valid score. Students must have passed the 12th grade with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for the reserved category) in addition to having a valid JEE Main score.
PMU creates an admission merit list and shortlists students for counseling and seat distribution based on the JEE Main and 12th results.During the counseling procedure, seats are distributed according to JEE Main rank, programme preference, academic standing, category, availability, etc.
