PCU - Coming Up Big

Placements: The placement is centralized for all PCET group colleges. The highest package till now is 61 lacs by Uber. Almost everyone gets an internship, whether paid or unpaid. The top recruiters are Uber, TCS, and many more. Overall, the placement is too good.

Infrastructure: We get 24 hours of free Wi-Fi. The labs are also equipped with modern equipment. The hostel facility is good, with amenities like washing machines, a swimming pool, a clubhouse with a gym, and table tennis. There’s also a basketball court and a badminton court. The food is not up to the mark.

Faculty: The teachers are excellent, holding very good degrees and PhDs, with a minimum of five years of experience. The course is very updated. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is above 75%. Scoring is not too tough. If you study, you will do well.

Other: Choosing a course at Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) blends personal interest and career goals. With an industry-focused curriculum, experienced faculty, and top-notch infrastructure, it’s a solid choice. Vibrant campus life, events like Technovanza, a diverse crowd, and ample scholarships enhance the experience. Improvements in research and support services are needed.

College is nice. The only issue is the hostel/hostel food .

Placements: Honestly, I have no knowledge about placement success as I am a first-year student and the first batch of my branch, i.e., CSE (AI-ML), is in its 3rd year. So, that means nobody has gotten placement from my branch since now. Hence, I am giving this rating. Afterwards, if I get nice news about placement, I am going to change it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite catchy and bright and I liked they have maintained three buildings 1 is for CSE, ENTC and applied science and humanities students; 2 is for AI-ML (MY branch), IT, and MCA students; and 3 is for mechanical and civil engineering students. Cleanliness in the college is at the top level. Talking about the hostel, the facilities are okay but the food is not very tasty. I only like non-vegetarians. I like stuff from the canteen. But the problem is money. The hostel rules are very strict. I have to struggle with warm water for both bathing and drinking. Because there is timing for warm water for bathing, etc. And there is only one water kettle we can use for warm drinking water, as there are restrictions on electric appliances. Overall, the hostel is decent, and the rooms are nice.

Faculty: The best part of the college is our teachers. So caring and helpful. Always ready to support us. In my life, I have seen such teachers for the first time. The course and curriculum are nice but they felt lengthy some times. I am FY I can't comment on whether it is useful in industry or not but I can say it is knowledgeable. The semester exams are not very tough if you have studied the material properly.

Other: I like the events conducted in the hostel facility at Zolo. They are interesting and we all have a lot of fun. Recently, we have seen a movie. And I also participated in Garba Night. What a fest it was! Best of luck to future students.
