Dissatisfied with the faculty and the overall facilities.
Placements: The department I belong to does not currently have a placement cell in place, unlike other departments such as economics and statistics. Opportunities for internships are not readily available to motivated and inquisitive students due to a lack of support from the professors. Despite being an autonomous institute, the situation is not as favourable as in other colleges.
Infrastructure: The college lacks unique facilities, has dirty and poorly maintained classrooms, and the departmental library is not well-kept. The teacher in charge of the departmental library is often available, and there are no strict rules for staff, professors or students.
Faculty: The current course curriculum is valuable for our future prospects; however, the teaching quality does not align with the updated syllabus. It is recommended to appoint new, well-qualified teachers. While the semester exams are designed to challenge and enhance students' knowledge, it appears that grades are impacted by interactions with professors rather than academic merit. It is important to maintain respectful behaviour towards all faculty members, even in situations of mistreatment. As per current protocols, students do not have access to their semester answer sheet, thereby lacking insight into the evaluation process.
Other: The decision to enroll in this course was based on the well-structured syllabus it offers. One of the course's notable features is its emphasis on practical application, providing an in-depth exploration of various technologies. It is important to foster a professional and supportive relationship between students and instructors. I believe that educators should prioritize the growth of students who demonstrate genuine interest and curiosity in the subject matter. Additionally, academic performance must not be conflated with personal sentiment. The availability of numerous scholarships and the annual hosting of engaging events contribute to a vibrant and enriching college experience, thereby preventing monotony.

Our college has excellent atmosphere.
Placements: There are no placements provided by the department. It is better to expect nothing from college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very high, and classrooms are world-class with high amenities. The entire campus is Wi-Fi connected. The library is also world-class. The ground is available with proper facilities.
Faculty: Our department has 14 professors. The physical geography faculty is one of the best in the country. Professors are excellent and are highly educated from renowned universities.

Placements: Department of Geography, has a long and continuing history of producing laurels in the field of Geography. Geography is mostly chosen a right option for higher studies and research. Students have ample opportunities to join independent internships programme (stipend and non - stipend). Though the department has a placement cell, mostly students opt for research at national reputed institutions I. e. IIT and also universities abroad. While others choose the Professional teaching.
Infrastructure: Being a institution that stands 200+ years strong. Presidency University has all the infrastructure required for a cognitive atmosphere. Central and Arts Library are bustling with books and study materials. Each department has its own seminar library. Students have direct access to high-speed internet. Sports and games are at par with any university in the nation. With 3 canteens, 2 stalls and few vendors quality food is available round the clock. Hostel for both boys and girls are available. The heritage building is 201 years old, but have been modified to fit all present infrastructures, I. e. Centralized AC, Elevator. Labs are modern and well-equipped.
Faculty: Do expect the best faculty. Professors are revered and very qualified. The classrooms are student friendly with very helpful teachers. The student to faculty ratio is about 1:22 though it varies amongst every department. The B.A. and B.Sc. courses span across 3 years and 6 semesters, the integrated syllabus covers up all aspects of the subject of specialisation.
Other: Presidency University is a well known institution all across India. The university unleashes 200 year old heritage through its alumni. The university has 2 large Museums. Milieu (annual fest) takes place every year organised by PUSC. Scholarships are provided to deserving students. There is no end to extracurricular activities. Connectivity is very good with local train, bus, metro, tram. Surrounded by college street, the bookers row in India, there could be no better campus surroundings than it.
