Review of Adamas University.

Placements: Around 90.5% of students were placed. Geological Survey of India, Geo Spoc, Kamins, Skylark drones, and Geo Storm Tech are the companies offering placements. Around 99.99% of students got internships. Environmental consultant, Cartographer, Town planner, Geographical information systems officer, Conservation officer, Landscape architect, and Teacher are the roles offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is quite good. GIS and cartography labs are available. There are a total of 3 inside hostels, 2 for girls and 1 for boys. Food court is available. Ambulance services are available 24x7. There are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms.

Faculty: Faculty members are very caring and friendly. Every faculty member in the Geography department has Doctorate. College offers a bunch of relevant courses. Students can choose as per their interests and skills.

It is a new college. Overall it is a decent college and it is slowly getting more efficient .

Placements: Decent amount of placements, and various skill training is provided before placements. Usually after B.Sc. we do not expect much higher placements but still some students were placed with an average package comprising from 1.2 - 3 lpa in our course .

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms are very clean most of them are air conditioned, library is very well maintained with a good collection of books. Hostel amenities are good, decent rooms, clean rooms with cleaning done once in two days, mess food quality is decent, canteen food quality is good, medical facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also very good. While semester exams depend from easy to hard, sometimes exams are taken without much gaps, overall it is good. The passing percentage is usually from moderate to high.

Other: Events, fests and organizations held are good with friendly atmosphere, while the fees might be high but overall it is good.

I am satisfied because of faculty members, very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Most of the students opt for higher studies like M.Sc in geoinformatics, M.Sc in geostatistics, computer engineering or appear for competitive exams. I would suggest if candidates are willing to pursue this course and want to excel in geoinformatics farms, then they should at least pursue M.Sc in geoinformatics and remote sensing to obtain higher post jobs.

Infrastructure: Our college provides cartography lab, physical geography lab and GIS and remote sensing lab. Our college also has centrally air-conditioned classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi and central library. The hostel provides single rooms, double rooms and triple rooms, 24x7 Wi-Fi, water supply, medical emergency, hygienic food, recreation centre, yoga centre and indoor games.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very helpful and highly qualified, and teaching quality is also smart. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The course is controlled by UGC and follow CBCS rules.

Campus and teachers are great, and the food served is also good.

Placements: There are 23 people currently in our batch. The top recruiting company of our college is Genpact. However, our college provides many recruitments of computer or B.Tech courses. Our department is small, but it is precious.

Infrastructure: Food is great with amazing Sunday dinners, but hostels rooms are very small for two people. Medical facilities are offered from Monday to Friday between home and allelopathy. There is a great gym facility for hostellers, and the registration fee is only Rs. 100. After that, it's free. The college fee is Rs. 48,000 per semester, which is reasonable for a private university course. However, the hostel fee is quite high. The campus is lush green and huge, so it is great for poetic strolls. The canteen provides good food.

Faculty: The course curriculum is excellent with a hybrid syllabus, so it touches on all subjects. Our course has already introduced us with software which most government colleges do not provide. Faculty members and attentive professors here are excellent. They provide many field trips and surveys.

Other: It is a new college, so the fest conducted in the year 2020 is good.

Can an arts without maths student pursue B.Sc (Hons) in geography?

It differs according to the college for example presidency college allow the students for bsc in geography those who have economics or maths in 11th and 12th classes but some colleges allow geo bsc hons for not having eco or maths in 12 . But if you want to take bsc you have to take eco or maths or
