Punjabi University Patiala Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

To get admission in Punjabi University, candidates must complete the registration and application process. The application process is online mode. Before filling out the application form, candidates are required to create an ID for singing in the Punjabi University's official website. Find below the registration process steps:

Step 1: Open www.pupadmissions.ac.in

Step 2: New candidates must click on “New User Registration” and already-registered candidates can click on “Student Dashboard Login”.

Step 3: Select the Form Category from the dropdown list in which you seek admission.

Step 4: Fill in your particulars as Select Category (SC/ST or General and all others), Name, Father's Name, Gender, Date of Birth, e-mail ID, Mobile No.

Step 5: Click on 'Register Now' to apply and you will be redirected to the registration print page.

Step 6: The registration confirmation page will be displayed with the following information:

• Login ID and Password for “Student dashboard Login”.
• Link to “Student Dashboard Login”.
• “Pay Application Processing Fee” button: Click on this button to pay the application fee.

After completing the registration process, candidates can access the application gateway. They can now follow the below steps for the application process:

Step 1: Open www.pupadmissions.ac.in and go to the Student dashboard Login for Online Application.

Step 2: Enter the User-Id and Password on the portal to login on the student dashboard. Follow the steps to complete the filling process.

Step 3: “Pay Application Processing Fee”button: Click on this button to pay application processing fee using Net banking/UPI/Debit Card/Credit Card.

Step 4: The candidate must print the registration receipt.

Note: For applications submitted after due dates, a late fee will be charged.

Punjabi University offers multiple scholarships for its students. However, only official students of Pubjabi University, who have been admitted to one of the UG/PG/PhD courses, are eligible for the scholarship. Students admitted to various departments are eligible for the following scholarships:

• Merit Scholarship under the National Merit Scholarship Schemes sponsored by the Centre and the State Governments.
• Loan Scholarships under the Government of India National Loan Scholarships Scheme.
• Scholarships, stipends, and fee concessions as admissible from time to time under the State Harijan Welfare Scheme for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other Backward Classes.
• Merit Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the result of the examination conducted by the Punjabi University.
• Stipends to children/grandchildren of Freedom Fighters, Ex INA personnel and to those sponsored by the Treasurer, Charitable Endowment, Punjab.
• UGC Post-graduate Merit Scholarship: This scholarship will be awarded to university-rank holders both in General and Honours Courses at the undergraduate level.
• Golden Heats Scholarships which provide up to INR 2,14,200 to Indian students to help them pursue higher studies in Engineering – regardless of religion, caste or creed.
