B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.6
The infrastructure is good, the facilities are average, and the placements are above average.
Placements: Electronics design engineer who works on circuit design, schematics, & pcb design by using tools like Altium, OrCAD, and KiCad. Embedded system engineer who develops firmware for microcontrollers by working on C++, RTOS. Hardware engineer validates hardware components, interface, and board by testing, debugging, and prototype validation
Infrastructure: The campus area is the largest in the state. The campus is very clean. Wi-Fi is not available in every class and lab. It is available in the library. There are water coolers in every department. Three canteens are available. Two stationary shops are also available on the college campus. Mess food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly highly qualified and knowledgeable, and they are also very calm and composed, except for some. The curriculum is not that the latest but rather outdated, which does not make students industry-ready. Students have to study on their own. Semester exams are of medium difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because of the latest industry demands, and the best thing is it is not very much affected by AI. I wish labs were more advanced and lab assistants were keen to provide knowledge. The events and fests are average with an average crowd.

My college review or journey.
Placements: Sales and marketing related companies mostly come during placements. or BDA (business development associate) related companies mostly come during placements. They allow off-campus placements, if one tries to get placed. Some core companies for mechanical, electrical, and civil also come.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. Classrooms are also not good. Library is okay but not so good. I will definitely not suggest hostels to you. Canteen is good but not best. Medical facilities are okay. Games and sports are a concern, then these are also okay but not better.
Faculty: Teachers are not that much helpful but they help sometimes. Semester exams are not that difficult, you can just read and prepare via previous year exam papers. Semester exams are easy to pass. But unfortunately, if someone gets back then it is easy to get it clear or pass.

Very good campus and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 60 to 70% of students got placements. Some of the students didn’t want on-campus placement because they think they can get more placements off-campus. The highest package offered was 44 LPA by Amazon, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average package is 4 to 5 LPA. Some of the recruiting companies are TCS, LG, Wipro, Amazon, ICICI Bank, and Infosys. Our college doesn’t provide any internship until the 2nd year; until then, you have to do an internship on your own. They provide internships in the 3rd year in companies like TCS, Infosys, and Thermal Power Plant. Some of the roles offered include Technical Duties and Assistant Duties.
Infrastructure: The classrooms here are very huge with good windows, but some fans don’t work. Wi-Fi facilities are only available in the library and CSE Department. Labs are also very good, but some instruments don’t work. The facilities at the hostel are great, and cleaning is done 2-3 times a week. The quality of food at the mess is normal. A variety of foods and drinks are available at the canteen and cafeteria. There is also a dispensary that opens at 10 am and closes at 4 pm. They can take care of normal diseases and wounds. Cricket, football, table tennis, badminton, and volleyball are played here.
Faculty: All of the teachers here have good degrees from good colleges in India. The teaching style and quality of most of the teachers are good, but not all of them. This course enables us to have an in-depth analysis of both theoretical and practical aspects, which are applied in real life. It makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are of a good level of difficulty. The passing percentage is between 30 to 40%.
Other: I love electrical things a lot, which is why I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that a lot of innovation and self-equipped skills are essential during the course. I wish they would just fix the instruments in the labs. Many events are held here, such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Navaratri, Garba Night, Convocation, Anukriti, THAR Fest, and many club activities. The campus crowd is almost 3,000 students. The campus is very huge, and almost 1 km away from the campus, the Chambal river flows. The area is full of plants and greenery. Sports and club activities include extracurricular activities.

The college is decent. But you have to work on skills.
Placements: Furthermore, the highest package and average package offered during RTU Kotak placements 2023 were INR 33 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, and many other leading companies were part of the Rajasthan Technical University placements in 2023.
Infrastructure: Well, classes of some branches are quite old, but in some of them, they are better. And Wi-Fi is provided on college campuses but has low speed. There is a huge library that has a lot of books. And mess and canteen food are good with decent prices. You have provided banking, postal, and stationary services throughout campus.
Faculty: The semester exams are quite tough, but you can score well with some effort. And the curriculum has NBA accreditation and is Aicet approved. Apart from this, you have to work on your skills by your efforts to get placed on campus; the faculty is talkative and helpful or supportive.
Other: Well, I choose ECE because of its upcoming demand and future growth. Well, there are many such events that were organized on campus based on different forms. And regularly extracurricular activities were also organized in college.

Really good teacher and great alumni network.
Placements: In our class, around 67 students are present. Some companies came in, like Byju’s, HCL Miniorange, Infosys. 60% of students got the placement. In the initial of the 4th year, students got the placement offers from some companies and got their dream jobs, with the lowest 4 LPA and the highest 44 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, and sports facilities are available. Libraries are also available, and gymnasium facilities are also available. Total 7 hostels are present: 5 boys’ hostels and 2 girls’ hostels. Students get proper mess facilities. Labs are also present in good condition.
Faculty: Nagar College faculty members are highly qualified and highly studied. Good teachers are available in our college. Teachers are very polite, kindly helpful, and relatable to the students. Semester difficulty level: normal, not highly difficult. Teachers are very good.
Other: I chose this branch because the semiconductor industries are developed in a continuous manner. Majorly, jobs are created in the ECE field. The RTU Thar fest is conducting in our college is the greatest fest in Rajasthan.

College is good; all depends on you, what attracts you—opportunity or distraction.
Placements: On-campus placements are average, but surprisingly the off-campus placements of RTU are quite good. Companies come every year, but as it is a government college, you have to be skillful to grab the placement. The highest placement was around 47 LPA last year (off-campus), and the average is around 4-5 LPA. Note: The average is of students who sit in placements, as in RTU a lot of children have backlogs!
Infrastructure: Petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, CSE, and Aeronautical branches have new, well-furnished buildings with almost all facilities. In other branches, the buildings and infrastructure are quite old, but yes, you can expect essential equipment. There are a total of 5 hostels for boys and 2 for girls. I don't know much about girls' hostels. In boys' hostel 4 and 5 have new buildings, and the others are older. Hostel 4 is only for 1st-year students; from the 2nd year onwards, it is based on CGPA. Hostel food is quite good because students decide the menu.
Faculty: As it is a government university, all the teachers are qualified, but only a few of them are helpful. You can't depend on classes blindly; you have to study on your own, and there is enough time for that. This is something I liked because there are very few classes scheduled and also a lot of holidays. Apart from academics, there are a lot of clubs, and almost every club is active (i.e. SRC, robotics, drama, PFC, dance, NCC, NSS, eco, VSC, HNM, and many more). You can check them on Instagram by searching "Name RTU." Semester examinations are not that tough, but the thing is, there are a lot of distractions, so even after a lot of students get fails, otherwise, the examinations are not tough.
Other: There are two main fests: 1. Cultural fest named Anukriti (a college-level fest) and 2. Technical fest named THAR (a national-level fest). Teams from different states and colleges come to perform, and there is also a dance night on all three days. Other than this, there are many more events organized by all clubs regularly, so basically, there are a lot of things for enjoyment.

Campus is very nice. Faculties for ECE are very nice. Exposure is nice if you seek the right one.
Placements: Around 20–30% of total strength gets campus placement. The highest package is 11-12 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. The lowest package is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Mini range, Reliance, TCS, Wipro, ScaleUp, etc. Around 50-60% of students get internships from various companies such as Mini range, ScaleUp, etc. Top roles offered are junior engineers.
Infrastructure: Some of the labs are well equipped, and some are not. For the ECE department, there is no Wi-Fi in classes or in the department. Classrooms are not well. Benches are too old. The library of the college is quite good. Sufficient space, Wi-Fi, and book availability are good. Hostel infrastructure varies depending on different hostel buildings. There are 5 hostels for boys. Hostels 1, 2, and 3 are the oldest, and so bathrooms are not that good. The infrastructure of hostel 4 and hostel 5 is very nice. All of the hostels are great. Food quality and taste are awesome. The college canteen is nice and pocket-friendly. Every item is priced below Rs 30, so good for students. The gym features three badminton courts, three table tennis courts, and a gym. There are two tennis courts, 1 football ground, and 1 cricket ground. From a sports and games point of view, there are a lot of equipments in college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching style is kind of typical. Many of the students don't get anything after the whole lecture. Course curriculum is approved by AICTE, and it is excellent. Semester exams are moderate to hard to difficult. The students must get 40% of the marks to pass the exams.
Other: I choose ECE as I can switch to IT field if necessary. The best thing about ECE is the scope of placement if the knowledge is quite good. Students can be hired by top companies such as Intel, AMD, etc. or telecommunication companies. THAR is one of the most engaging festivals of the college, which is a national-level college festival. Anukriti is college cultural event which happens once every year Crowd: there are around 3000 students in whole college. Connectivity: College is 14 km from Kotak junction. And the connectivity to college is quite good. Extracurricular Activities: There are in total 29 clubs run by the students in the college for extracurricular activities. Such as dance, drama, music, social services, etc. Scholarship: TFWS seats and GAS seats are available. Feels in these seats are lesser.

College campus is good but placement depend on your skills.
Placements: Rajasthan Technical College provides an average package of 3 to 4 LPA. The highest package of the college is 440,000 LPA, and the lowest is around 2 LPA. Many companies come to campus, such as Tata, Stock Grow, Reliance Jio, and others.
Infrastructure: Rajasthan Technical College's facilities and infrastructure are good, and all departmental infrastructure looks good. Wi-Fi facilities are available, lab maintenance is proper, and there is a big library with almost 300,000 books available. Classrooms are average.
Faculty: Rajasthan Technical College provides a new curriculum. Faculty at the college are helpful, but they are not very involved with students. The teaching quality is good, but not very good. The semester exams at the college are not difficult; they follow a medium exam pattern.

I am afraid that's not going to help. RTU is kind of strict in these matters. But surely you can ask your query by emailing it to RTU. The decision of authority is final in this regard. Best of luck.
