The updated fee structure for B.Com from Ranchi University is around 3600 INR per annum. However these is only college fees. Hostel and Mess fees are not included in this.

Ranchi University admissions can be divided into three stages. The admission process commences with the application stage. All candidates seeking admission apply for the preferred BCom course by submitting an application form. After the application portal is closed, the university shortlists students based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

The shortlisted students must report to the allocated university/institute and get their documents verified. Such students must carry important documents such as Class 10 and 12 marksheets, identity proof, address proof, etc. Lastly, students are required to pay the admission fee to secure their admission.

Ranchi University BCom admissions are facilitated via the Chancellor's Portal. As per the official website of the portal, BCom admissions are not open yet. The admission process generally begins in the month of July. No, you cannot take direct admission to some courses. The Ranchi University has many courses for doctoral ,undergraduates and  postgraduates students. There are many different branches like engineering , medicine , nursing, science, arts , Commerce, and many  more. To get in, you need good scores on the entrance exam and qualifying exam. From 198764 in 2021 to 164360 in 2022 to 135582 in 2023, this was the change. The Ranchi University BTech in Mechanical Engineering cutoff for the All India General category ended at 103803 in 2023, up 24344 ranks from 2022 (128147 rank).

The application forms for various courses offered by Ranchi University usually come out in the official portal of the University. The dates concerning the release of application forms depends on the courses preferred. For any all India entrance exam based course, the forms are out generally after 3-4 weeks after the exam completetion. For other courses for which University conducts merit and entrance exams, the notification regarding it is sent 1-2 months beforehand in the official portal of the University. Candidates should regularly keep tabs on the official site to remain updated with the concerned dates. 

As per the Ranchi University's official website, CUET is accepted by the university for admission to its PG and UG courses.  As for the BSc porgramme, CUET is indeed required but as per the university's admission guidelines. However, candidates with a valid eligbility criteria is also admitted but  preference will be given to the CUET candidates. 

Eligibilty Criteria: Twelve years of school education with 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Ranchi University is approved as Jharkhand's second-best university. Selecting this option is best if you are from Jharkhand.
The overall NIRF ranking is also among the top 100. It is mostly between 90 and 95 rank.
