Ranchi University admissions can be divided into three stages. The admission process commences with the application stage. All candidates seeking admission apply for the preferred BCom course by submitting an application form. After the application portal is closed, the university shortlists students based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

The shortlisted students must report to the allocated university/institute and get their documents verified. Such students must carry important documents such as Class 10 and 12 marksheets, identity proof, address proof, etc. Lastly, students are required to pay the admission fee to secure their admission.

The updated fee structure for B.Com from Ranchi University is around 3600 INR per annum. However these is only college fees. Hostel and Mess fees are not included in this.
