Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya BPharm admission is completely merit-based. RGPV BPharm admission is based on candidates' performance in their last qualifying exam, followed by MPBSE counselling. Candidates can participate in MP BE counselling as per their eligibility. Based on the Class 12 scores, DTE will release the merit list.

Candidates seeking admission to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya BPharma course must pass the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with PCM with an aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). The total tuition fee costs between INR 1.56 Lacs - INR 4.24 Lakh. The tuition fee varies depending on the college allotted to students under RGVP. Usually, the tuition fee is paid in intsallment at the beginning of each academic year. The first installment of the tuition fee must be paid at the time of admission. The total number of fee installments will depend on the course duration.

If candidates gets their admission cancelled during first semester from the RGPV or admission of an ineligible candidate is cancelled by the University, prior to seven days before the last date of admission, as declared by the University, the tuition fee deposited by the such candidates shall be refunded back after deducting 10% from the deposited amount post which the fee deposited by the candidate is not refundable.

RGPV BPharma syllabus is divided into semester-pattern where the subjects are distributed evenly across eight semesters of the programme. In each category (General/ ST/ SC/ OBC), 3% seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped Class category candidates and, 30% seats are reserved for female candidates. 5% supernumerary seats are available under the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme of AICTE and one seat each is reserved for J&K Migrants and J&K Resident candidates.

RGPV BPharma seats are alloted to candidates based on marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination. The total seat intake at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya across all the affiliated institutes and colleges is 5,780.

According to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during RGPV BTech and MTech placements 2023 stood at INR 4.25 LPA and INR 4.81 LPA, respectively. Further, a total of 262 students were placed and 38 students opted for higher studies out of the total 548 students during RGPV BTech placements 2023. Earlier, the highest and average package offered during UIT RGPV placements 2022 stood at INR 44 LPA and INR 4.4 LPA, respectively. Further, 54 companies visited the campus and 542 students were placed during UIT RGPV placements 2022.
