SASTRA University BOPTM Eligibility & Highlights 2025
SASTRA Deemed University also offers a four-year BOptom programme. Admission to this course is based on a normalised score calculated by giving 25% weightage to NEET score and 75% weightage to Class 12 scores followed by counselling round conducted by the University. This course is offered in collaboration with Elite School of Optometry, located at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Students will spend the first two years at SASTRA Deemed University and the next two years at the Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya.

No, SASTRA University does not acceptany admissions for BTech courses in offline mode. The entire admission process from registration for entrance exam to document verification is conducted online by SASTRA University.

No, candidates cannot get admission into BTech courses at SASTRA University. Candidates need to appear in JEE Main exam in order to qualify for BTech after Class 12th. However, 30% of total seat intake is allotted based on Class 12 board exam merit.
