SGT University Gurgaon is a private university and was established in 2013. It is approved by the UGC and has been accredited  by NAAC with an A+ Grade. Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University is a unit of DECT (Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust). Further, it is also known as Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University. 

Candidates can join SGT University only after getting shortlisted for the applied course. The selection criteria varies course-wise. Candidates need to pass CUET-UG for admission to courses such as BSc, BCA, etc. For MSc, MBA, MTech, etc. aspirants require CUET-PG score. Besides, NEET conducted by NTA is accepted for BAMS and MBBS programmes. For all other courses, merit of the candidates is considered for admission. 

CAT is not required for SGT University Gurgaon. However, CAT scores are considered for admission to the MBA programme at SGT University Gurgaon. For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. While the hostel charges are INR 6.3 Lacs and one-time fee is INR 52,500. Some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. SGT University admission process starts with registration for the preferred course. Candidates can fill out the application form offline or apply on the university website. SGT University selects candidates for most of the UG courses based on CUET scores. The university accepts CUET-PG for PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MPharm, etc. Besides, candidates must also fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for admission.
