Faculty members were really good for my department.

Placements: I have heard the college provides placements. But for a psychology Bachelor's programme, there is not much scope for placements. Because to get a placement in the psychology field, one needs more education. So I don't complain that we didn't get placements. But our teachers helped and encouraged us to prepare for our Master's course.

Infrastructure: Classes were average. The library was well-equipped and had the required books. There was no Wi-Fi on campus. The college doesn't have its own hostel, but they refer you to a private company that provides hostel facilities. The hostel rooms, though average, and food was not good according to me.

Faculty: The best thing about my college experience was the faculty members. The HOD of the psychology department is particularly helpful and very approachable. All the other faculty members are helpful, educated, and very good teachers. The course curriculum is well-constructed and relevant for future professions. The semester exams are quite easy, and the faculty members give good marks. Usually, people pass if they study well.

Review of Sister Nivedita University.

Placements: Students are not offered any internships, as no companies are associated with the psychology department. While students can pursue internships independently, the university does not provide assistance. Internships are not mandatory at the bachelor's level; however, research is compulsory.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are pretty average. There are two practical labs, with one equipped with AC. The classes are frequently moved from one room to another. The hostel rooms are neat and liveable. However, the food is terrible. Hostel rules are strict but acceptable. The social life is somewhat toxic.

Faculty: The professors are qualified and teach pretty well. They are very helpful and supportive. The curriculum and knowledge imparted are very useful for future careers. The scoring system is also good. The semester exams are moderately difficult. Studying diligently can earn you good marks.

Good quality staff and a wonderful environment.

Placements: Around 20% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered was 20 LPA, and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Around 90% of students got internships from my course in Apollo Hospital, as a psychiatrist and a general consultant with a clinic.

Infrastructure: The college had great infrastructure with each class having air conditioning and Wi-Fi equipped. It had a huge library with books to study. The hostel had well and clean rooms. The mess was clean and hygienic, with good food, and hygienic toilets.

Faculty: The teaching quality was good. The course was relevant and made the students industry-ready. Semester exams were moderate. If you studied well, it was okay, but if you didn't study, it was difficult. The exam percentage to pass was 50%, but attendance mattered a lot. Around 70% is needed. Wonderful faculty.

Other: Events happen every month.

A good college with balanced academics, facilities, and student life. Placements could be better.

Placements: About 50% of students get placements, as far as I know. Entry-level roles are offered. The package offered ranges from 1.5-5 LPA. I cannot name companies, but recruiters are mostly hospitals, Ed-tech companies, NGOs, HR firms, etc. 80-95% of students get internships, and they are mostly provided or referred by the college after or during their 3rd year. Roles like case assistant, entry-level counsellor, special educator, and HR executive are offered here.

Infrastructure: We have whiteboards, projectors, a library, labs, a water cooler, and lifts. AC is not centralized on all floors yet, but its work is in progress. There is no Wi-Fi in the college. We often have network problems in many classrooms. I don't think we have a hostel from the university itself. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games encouragement is more than welcome and practiced routinely. Food is readily available and of great quality in both the canteen and food trucks. Our campus is often visited by many small businesses and even fast food chains like KFC, Domino's, and Taco Bell.

Faculty: Most teachers are really good, super helpful, interactive, understanding, and friendly. They are also strict when needed. Teaching quality is good. I would say our course curriculum is pretty relevant. It covers almost all topics that are required to know as a B.Sc. (Hons) in psychology. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are fairly tough. The pass percentage is 50-55% on average.

Other: I am recommended here by my high school psychology teacher, and it is a pretty decent choice amongst the private universities offering a B.Sc. Psychology programs. The best thing about my course would be practicals, which are conducted with apparatus, test materials, protocol sheets, and other experiential tools. I wish we had centralised air-conditioning and Wi-Fi in all classes on all floors and more working lifts for students. A major problem we face is that students are not allowed to use printers or Xerox machines. There is no stationery for students.
