Placements: SRM University's placements record is generally strong, with a high percentage of students placed, many recruitment drives, and some impressive salary packages, though individual outcomes vary widely by branch and student effort. The average package in 2025 stands at INR 6.6 LPA, and the highest reached INR 65 LPA for top performers.
Infrastructure: The CSE department includes high-tech labs for AI, IOT, cybersecurity, cloud computing, networking, and more, aligning with current industry needs. The University supports research.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members hold advanced degrees ( M.Tech, Ph.D. and have notable industry or research experience. CSE curriculum covers core computer Science areas and is regularly updated to include cutting-edge technologies like AI, ML, cybersecurity, and web development. Curriculum is frequently updated to meet job sector requirements.

Good infrastructure and peer group. Placements just started for the 2026 batch.
Placements: I’m from B.Teach CSE (AI & ML), 2022-2026 batch. Placements have only recently begun for my batch. Based on the 2025 batch, about 85% got placed with 5 to 6 LPA on average, 15 to 18 LPA the highest (on campus), and 3 LPA the lowest. About 60 to 70% got internship offers through startups, research labs, or referrals. Roles were like SDE, ML engineer, analyst, DevOps, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi depends on your luck; some areas and labs have great networks, others not so much. The library isn't much of a library, but it has good computers for things like IEEE site access, which you will need later for paper publication. Classrooms are not bad; all are pretty neat and clean.
Faculty: Some teachers are almost overqualified, while others kind of sit around and let you do your own thing. Some are strict, others are super chill. It depends on your luck. Frankly speaking, you've got to learn industry-level subjects on your own; don't depend on SRM to teach you something better than on YouTube. Passing the exams should be a breeze; the internals themselves are 60 marks, so just try not to screw up too badly, and scoring 9.0+ should not be difficult.
Other: I chose AIML because it's the course of the future with the AI boom and all. The best part is placements; we get access to basically all the companies. It would be better if we were to take on a more practical and hands-on approach than the current theory-focused examinations on AI. College fests are honestly pretty bland, but that's a general opinion. You might enjoy it with friends; just know it's not exactly as grand as KTR campus or NITs, IITs.

Good placements are offered in our college.
Placements: Very low level of students only got the placements. The highest package is 8 lakh; the lowest package is 4 lakh. The average is 2 lakh. Good companies are offering jobs to the college students. But, nowadays placements are poor.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was neat in the collage, but the dogs are always on the campus; no Wi-Fi for us. The library is okay, the quality is so good, and the canteen food was so good. Medical facilities are there, and games are good. No mess is there in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, very talented, and qualified for good teaching for us. Students are made ready for industry. The teaching quality was excellent and beautiful, with a friendly and humble tone. The pass percentage was 40 percent in the exam.
Other: BCom is a good degree and basic. The improvement was to reduce the rules and placements. Events, festivals, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular activities, etc. are so good.

Placements: Maximum, every student gets placed in any type of job. They are giving the placement according to their skills and other things. The SRM Ramapuram is a very good option for placement. Every student is getting placed, so there is no problem with placement in the SRM Ramapuram campus, and the salary of the placement is very reasonable.
Infrastructure: There is very good infrastructure that gives you a peaceful vibe every day. They have a good canteen and food. The canteen makes us feel a vibe. There is a sports complex which has sports facilities like football, cricket, basketball, and other games.
Faculty: The faculty is very qualified. Their teaching skills are very good. The semester exams are in an easy manner. The teaching skills of the staff are very well-mannered. For student motivation, they bring an alumni for a speech, and the teacher who is working is very knowledgeable.
Other: I have taken a BBA to gain more knowledge about business. Doing BBA at SRM is the best option to study.

It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: The placements are good, and if you have programming skills, you will get into a good company. The top companies, such as Microsoft, Amazon, and some international companies, have come for the placements, and placement takes place in the main campus, which is the KTR campus. It is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and it would have been better if we had basketball courts and football turf. The new building, which has been constructed, has new and well-conditioned ACs, and there are two lifts. The canteen is also properly maintained.
Faculty: Teachers teach well, and every faculty member is very well-experienced and has a Ph.D. degree themselves. They communicate well with every student and interact. They solve the doubts, and you can easily clarify the solutions. Overall, the faculty is good at teaching.

You have to build your own skillset.
Placements: As compared to the previous years, the rate of placements has dropped. High salary packages have drastically decreased. College isn't providing skills up to the mark. The fee is more than 3 lakhs per year, but you won't get a guaranteed placement. It's true that many companies do visit SRM but the employers need skills that you won't have if you depend on the college.
Infrastructure: As per the fees you are paying (3 lakhs + in my case which has increased now), you won't be satisfied with the infrastructure. There is no AC in the classrooms. Most of the old labs don't have proper air-conditioned systems and desktops (new ones have as of now).
Faculty: The curriculum and syllabus are interesting and seem as per the industry standards with some real life implementation. But most of the faculty members don't teach properly. Most of them don't even have proper subject knowledge. But the good thing is they would award you good marks if you manage to write something relatable, so if you put in a little effort also you would be able to make a good to go CGPA (of course there are some irritating faculty members who won't bother about your CGPA, but thankfully they are very less).
Other: Don't have such a good campus life. For a good campus life, it's better you go to the Katagulantur campus. CSBS is a good course if you want to have technical knowledge along with some business insights. If you work hard without being dependent on the university and not expecting anything from the university, you will end up with something very good.
