SRMJEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) will be held in 2 phases and in remorse online proctored mode. Also the University accepts National level exam JEE Mains for admission to its BTech Programme. So candidates are required to have a valid scores of the above mentioned exams. Admission without JEE is not possible as per the University's admission guidelines.

SRM Sonepat also offers B.Tech programs in association with IBM in the fields of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) offers a B.Tech in CSE Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning that combines a variety of AI&ML courses with the basic courses in CSE.
